So, another 2 minute mission, 1 new pamphlet, no new clothing, no new free roam LA.

 

I said we were due for some dry weeks.

Watched the cutscene but not even going to bother looking for the plants. I will however shoot every animal in sight

Nope, a friend of mine has only 1 account and has the same issue. I have 2 PS4s and tried my other PS4, still getting disconnected.

The only thing I can hope for is the cutscene not happening, twice that happened, there was no yellow area.

I found the solution, you collect the 5 plants and then go to the tree thats on the pamphlet. Near the tree is a yellow marker and when you inspect that youll eat the plants and turn into the dear. Lasts a few mins and then youll transform back.

So much wasted potential with the ability to turn into animals. Limited both by time & location instead of letting people freely roam around. Would’ve been nice to be able to turn into a bird then fly around & admire the map from above. Could’ve got some weird fun new game modes. Something like predators versus humans & more comical variations of animals versus humans. Like one where you can be a squirrel & try to bite people to death.

 

I thought the handling of peyote plants in GTA 5 online with it being considered “Halloween content” making it only available for a limited time each year what is rockstar handling it terrible. RDR2 made the concept more interesting but the execution worse. Tho both games did not expand on it to make new game modes.

Have a friend start his posse and access Harriet's shop to buy something, join his posse and you might end up avoiding the cutscene.

You can talk to her and access her shop, but I think if you back out you get the cutscene anyway, so pick sell, buy or missions, whatever you need.

I'm not sure if it's the buy menu that does this, or because I joined from the main menu.

Might have to join your friend's posse from the main menu.

The new plant stuff is juice that isn't worth the squeeze in my opinion. Did it for the experience, won't be doing it again.

Maybe if you could change into an eagle or a hawk or something like that, it might be something worth doing once in a while. I have no desire to be a f*cking deer, or worse a a rabbit that scurries around in the undergrowth.

Do you have to buy the Buck pamphlet or is it free? I'm guessing they will release new animal "peyote" locations to find as well?

Real disappointment. 

You should be able to transform anytime you want as long as you have the ingredients. You should also be able to use other animals such as wolves, bears, and cougars. It would be fun to use such deadly animals in missions. Imagine transforming into a wolf during the wolf man legendary bounty, sneaking passed all the wolves, turning back into human when you are near him and capturing him. Timer makes sense but I hate how limited it is. I would love to run across the map extremely quick as a cougar or buck, adds such an interesting way to travel the map, also I would like to become an eagle or any type of bird. I don't care if they charge 10-20 gold bars per pamphlet as long as it adds a unique and fun game play experience. If the next 3 pamphlets are 10 bars each, they won't be worth it if they have the same restrictions. If they added my idea it would save this update and give Harriet a real purpose.

Imagine being a bird and looking at map from above. It would be one of most amazing experience but alas Rockstar has delivered disappointment. I really hope they remove the limitations. I don't mind the timer but limiting area is dumb.
