U should make the 6th role outlaw and we should have access to robing banks with high reward high risk each area becoming harder like tumbleweed is easiest with like 50$ p for each player and saint denis is max difficulty and 1000$ for each player and even better the more players the harder they are but even more money and bounty hunters can join in but they only have 3 lifes each outlaw player they kill they get half the take if they win

In today’s late-night episode of RDO, I have invited the entire session to my moonshine shack so I can get the 4 customers served daily challenge.

 

Well, four people came, all low-levels, and only two were intelligent enough to figure out I was downstairs, though it took them a while. I’m lead to believe the two players were teenage girls, judging by their usernames, and friends since they interacted with each other quite frequently.

 

After serving them four times, they started serving each other, getting drunk and all that. I went to play with the band, they still stayed drinking and hugging/slapping each other, and then finally taking interest in dancing and playing instrument with me before they went on their merry way.

 

It was a fun and heartwarming 15-minutes, wish nothing but the best for those two.

The cynical answer is "increasing the randomness of collectibles to reduce the profitability of it," which is what they did

i just don't see our characters becoming roles of authority just yet; we still have unfinished business with LeClerk. Remember when we were broken out of prison? Our names still haven't been cleared from whatever situation our characters were in... I feel like if they are going to add a Lawmen/Sheriff role, they need to finish out the Land of Opportunity missions. At least give us a chance to clear our name. Maybe they could tie in some missions with the role to help us with that?

I could be wrong but as i understand this trinket it supposed to give you a better chance of a 3star after killing but i read it that it wont make a 1star animal prior to being shot better but its supposed to stop or lower the chance of a 3 star aninal degrading to either 2 or 1 star after being shot 

 

So shootin an animal thats lower than 3 star the trinket wont work as you cannot improve on the original but you have a better chance of retaining a 3 star skin from a 3star animal after killing it

So many disconnection issues every 5 minutes I got this sh*t message , This game is broken and need to be fixed asap , they need to release a small update to fix the connection issues I knew they did that a couple of days ago and when they failed , they rolled back the update , rockstargames need to hire new developers

So you must think it's even more stupid the way it is then because there is already an overlap with roles. The rank 20 unlock in the naturalist role is a cosmetic item (that costs 12 gold) and that you would need to buy the collectors role to purchase.

 

When I saw the charm belt unlock at rank 20 I assumed that must be the way to equip your trinkets. I thought surely the unlock at max rank must be quite special. But if it is just cosmetic then it's a disappointment. I've bought a couple of the trinkets but can see them making no difference at all.

 

I'd be really interested if someone out there who doesn't own the gun cleaning trinket would try something out. With standard ammo in my Lancaster it took 83 shots for it to go from completely clean to reduce by 1 bar. If anyone can be bothered to do this I'd be curious to know how many shots it takes to degrade by 1 bar without the trinket.

I could see them doing a 'deputy for hire' thing, where if you've already hit Bounty Hunter rank 5, they'll give you a badge or something, because you've demonstrated you're capable enough, "provided you stay on the straight and narrow". Might be like Harriet, where doing too many dishonourable/illegal things locks you out of doing missions for a while.
 

Speaking of Harriet, it'd be good to have a Harriet/Gus dynamic for the new thing - for instance, if you want to be less of a lawman, more a ruthless vigilante, there's an alternative contact you can go to instead (but doing so will put you at odds with the 'lawman' contact).

That asymmetric waistcoat is going to get a lot of use - haven't quite worked out what to do with that cardigan-looking thing, though.

 

I have a horrible suspicion that the variants of things like the Morning Tailcoat are just going to be either garish purple/pink versions again, or snakeskin/fur variants - or both...

The first picture, the big one, is Joe's coat i believe. The black jumper coat thing looks like something you buy from those knock off Chinese websites that's anime inspired.

Thats a good point. Perhaps this Team Good vs Team Bad thing we have with Harriet and Gus' will become a thing. You are made a Deputy and you can either take Criminals to the Marshall's (Good) or Pinkertons (Bad). Could be a really good way to introduce a younger Leigh Johnson.

Ooh, proper bug-fix time? I've actually had no real connection issues after that last rollback update - hopefully this solves things definitively (and maybe sorts out stuff like hair physics, clothing clipping, etc.).

No update on PC for me (Launcher). SteamDB shows no updates either.

 

The 1 GB size on PS4 (and 3 on xbox) is likely it just downloading the main whole update package, I assume this is a maintenance update like the last time and it's going to be like 200 MB in reality.
