I could be wrong but Legendary Pelts are always classed as "Perfect" so the Perk that increases the amount of materials for a Perfect pelt works with it and gives you more than what is stated.

Just like in single player, you have to sell it to him before he can make an outfit out of it

In singleplayer, the outfits are shown to you, as well as their prerequisite material, including all the ones you can only get in prologue. I’m only seeing the wolf and fox coat here in Online.

EDIT: I think it’s best if I sell it to Gus, even if I’m never ever getting those stupid fursuits he sells. Cripps would love the pelt, sure, but I’ll still sell a $500-625 worth of cargo in the end, and I manage to fill his material bar very easily with common animals anyway.

EDIT 2: nevermind, it does appear once I sell it, that’s weird. Thanks for telling me.

So, I have finally encountered a legendary animal, despite not even starting the Naturalist role. It was one of the cougars, iguaga or whatever that looks no different from the average one, you find it next to Sean’s camp outside of Blackwater.

After reaching it first, killing it, skinning it, and subsequently killing an envious thief of a player who tried to murder me and steal it, I stowed it on my horse and went to Gus. Problem is, the only two things Gus has to offer for me is the Moonstone Wolf and Marble Fox, and nothing else.

Should I sell it to him anyway, or give it to my homie Cripps for 21.88 material, who has been straight and honest with me since our trader business started?

He can't make a coat without the pelt

Did you have a friend who has progressed through the Naturalist Role helping you?

I ask because if you were solo and you haven't started the Naturalist Role yourself it was probably the "envious thief", rather than yourself, who actually spawned the Iguaga Cougar, as it's rank locked to Naturalist rank 10, so not having started the Role, it couldn't have been you who spawned it without some kind of glitch present.

The damn trinket that is meant to give you a better quality pelt never seems to work... All pelts I've skinned since obtaining that trinket have all been the same quality of the animal, and they're more often than not clean kills so I'm not ruining the quality before the animal is down. I know it's random, but it must be quite low.

I'm not entirely convinced that any of the trinkets, with the exception of the borderline useless x2 oregano/thyme/mint trinket, actually work, or that if they do, the benefit is so small that it isn't noticeable.

Like you, my pelt quality doesn't seem to be affected, my weapons seem to need cleaning more often if anything and the Cob I bought after getting the trinkets didn't seem to bond more quickly either.

I like the idea of trinkets, but the benefits need to be buffed.

Have you been to nazar to buy the trinket . We got the trinket for weapons condition ages ago only realised it didn’t activate until rank 20 in naturalist and even then you have to go to nazar and buy it for 10 gold

The trinkets that have perks are bought from Gus. The Madam Nazar trinket is just cosmetic.

It's definitely not the same as the Story Mode one that for sure.

Can you see/attach the trinket to the gunbelt or something or is it only in the inventory? I crafted one yesterday (the pelt one) but I have no idea if i am working right.

just trying to understand the meaning behind the wording and phrasing "extensions and augmentations to an existing role", can we consider the moonshiner role an "extension and augmentation" of the trader role?

or an "extension and augmentation" wold be inside the role itself, with more content, itens, missions and tiers?

So how do you equip then  . All I know is before buying the trinkets from nazar the trinket was in my satchel now it’s on my waist . I’ve only just equipped it so time will tell if now it’s working cause it certainly wasn’t before

update just done a little test and there no diffrence . With or without the trinkets on . If anyone can tell me how to equip it would appreciate it

Because of the "diverse" player base (myself included). Pinkerton associate, would be the work around or working with a smaller rival agency.

Did they resolve that lawsuit?

Dam thats true.... i forgot about that... its incredible that these people so used to change everythings real name precisely to avoid this, went with the real one in this case.

I really dont think political correctness is the issue there, just trademark conflict.

I don't believe this to be the case as the trinkets are in your satchel already, plus it would be pretty stupid if that was the case since you'd have to own both the Naturalist and Collector Roles to be able to make use of said trinkets. So those not doing the collector role but the have bought into the Naturalist role would in theory be paying 25 Gold Bars in total to get a trinket working that is not even related to the collector role.

I do have friends who progressed through the Naturalist role, but I wasn’t with them at the time. That said, let me detail the events.

7-BC22-DB5-B755-4-ABF-AEC7-FA594-B574100

The red-line represents my initial path towards Blackwater.

The green dot represents the point the game notified me of the nearby legendary, so my path diverged towards it.

The yellow dot is where I spotted the legendary cougar, harassing NPC travelers and what not. The yellow radius around the dot is the range it chased me in as I was fighting it, and where it also died.

After I killed it, I stopped to take a screenshot and a photo. I checked the minimap from the moment the game notified me of the legendary until I finished taking photos, and I have not seen a single player around then. When I whistled for my horse and started skinning the cat, that’s when I saw a blue dot on my map.

The blue line was the general direction of the player who fought me, and the purple lines represent where we skirmished. After he died, I picked up the pelt he somehow shot off my hand, stowed it on my horse, and went towards my camp near Manzanita Post.

Regardless if it is true the player spawned it or not, the game notified me, I saw no one else nearby that would like to take it, and I did all the work of killing and skinning the cougar. The player indeed was a thief, since he tried stealing what he didn’t work towards getting, and was inevitably too slow to get it, if he indeed spawned it.

Samson Finch, is the only major outlaw contact in RDR2O, so far. You can only play his missions with low honor. More outlaw missions with Mr. Finch, as the contact. And hideouts will be the first property purchase?

Until that lawsuit, Pinkerton was thought to be in the public domain.

GTA Online is getting a map expansion

Is this confirmed?

I don't think a map expansion would be possible for an outdated game like GTA 5

I'll be surprised if it's really an map expansion and not a bunker / cassino type expansion, which I consider more of a map improvement than an expansion.
If it's really a new part of the map then our dreams of playable Nuevo Paraiso can rise again... I think...

No, the only confirmed part is that it takes place on "an entirely new location", you can interpret that however you like, but I'm sure whoever wrote it is professional enough to pick his words carefully and to differ between a new building and a map expansion.

apropos carefully: they wrote "new heists in an entirely new location".... ;)  which means the main info is on a new heist, not a new location....

Liberty City and Vice City missions? Not a full map, just enough to keep things interesting (remember GTA: San Andreas the trip to Liberty City).

https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/Saint_Mark's_Bistro

Hop on a private jet, cut scene, aerial view of the city, head to heist room, start mission.

Snipped for space, not out of dismissal.

I wasn't doubting the actions of the other player, or even that the LA had spawned etc.

What you said about spawning a level locked LA even though you hadn't started the Role intrigued me, as I've looked into the spawn prerequisites of LA's for the Legendary Animals Thread.

Your description and map of what happened made it much more clear though, so thank you.

From your description, the other player most likely did spawn the LA, but you got to it and killed it, so, IMO, it was "yours" and they were being a d*ck.

Unfortunately, some players don't see it that way.

To be exact, they wrote "featuring our latest take on Heists in an entirely new location". It means a new heist taking place on an entirely new location.

Maybe the point is that, to create falsehoods in player minds for hype. Probably a reworked location as the casino, or maybe  a new city just for the mission, like it happened with gta san andreas in the past. Expectatives at its lowest with this folks

The pelt trinket won’t ever give you a higher quality pelt than what the animal was originally.

If you mess up a two or three star down to one, it has a chance to give you a two star pelt.
