Take all of this with a grain of salt, some of it could be leftovers from the SP beta, or GTA Online.

the peyote plants are already confirmed with some pamphlet you have to buy for 12 gold or so

Unless have my information confused, but there is variants of each Legendary Animal, 2 for Free Roam, 1 for Harriet missions currently.

 

However, there is code in the game files for all 3 Legendary Animals variants for Harriet such as audio files, animations, game textures etc.

 

So it is my own assumption that once all Legendary Animals are released you’ll be able to get them from missions that Harriet gives you on a random basis of 3 at a time, which change after a while or if you switch lobbies, like the Bounty Boards.

 

I could be wrong and Rockstar simply changed direction and decided to have 2 Free Roam and 1 only available from Harriet instead of every single Legendary Animal being available.

 

The 3rd variant of the Gators, Coyote and Buck are not available from Harriet at the moment, but should be once he drip feed is done if all of them won’t be if it is the case that Rockstar decided to change their minds about them all being available from Harriet.

It's a bit different, there are 4 pamphlets for animal control, one is what I believe to be free or the one we start with, and the rest cost gold bars. About 30 Gold Bars in total, prices can change of course.

Do the Night Folk appear online outside of missions, or even The Murfree Brood for the matter of fact? I know they appear in hideouts, but I have never encountered them in free roam.

Night Folk no, and there is Murfree Brood campsite defend, free roam rescue missions, ambushes etc.
 

If this is what you mean when in free roam, I’ve not encounter gang members outside of those events?

You will see Del Lobo hanging around Thieves Landing, but that is about all it goes for gangs appearing outside scripted events.

Yes just you. I'd rather be able to see griefers than them ambushing my wagon.

Barely see any people in online anyways, with no player blips why even call it red dead online if there are no player interactions.

Hostiles would be shown as red dots like the usual, as npcs. And btw, even you being able to see them right now as blue dots, they still will ambush your wagon no matter what you do. With blips, the only interaction you got is being attacked, thats why they exist, you are a fool if you think R* implemented that since Gtao just for player interation, they want us to be sitting ducks, you don’t realise that with no blips for non hostile players just help with immersion, if you want to interact just use your goddamn senses, you are too used to radar, other games dont show players all the time for a reason.

free roam, blips are ok.

 

but in PVP, its clearly way better without blips...its just dumb to see each other, this delets the whole tactic of stealth/silence

Exactly, blips removes the stealth gameplay that I bet a lot of ppl miss in this game and gtao.

 

In free roam would help too because ppl want to be left alone with their friends, having blips just help griefers go annoy them.

All of this combined makes me think that we might be able to raise Livestock at our camps. Just a few Sheep or Cows milling around, take them to market in towns and then have to deliver the money we get back to camp to finish the mission. Might be a new Role or part of a possible Rancher update with "camp" just being generic game code for your Ranch.

I have, there was no notification at all for it though. Just logged in today with extra money and a boat load more xp. Xp being the most notable, since I'd only ranked up just last night before heading off.

since the naturalist update, my horse keeps standing stull during auto ride in cinema camera.

before the update it was ver rare, just when you cross a train or npc standing in the way.

but since the update, my horse just stops riding and standing still in the middle of nowhere.

 

somebody has the same issue?

Not even during auto ride. Sometimes I'll be riding manually and my horse just stops.

No offense, but it was mentioned here before, that we are supposedly getting such pamphlets and it wasn't posted by me. I don't think you need a confirmation from me.

I'm not really looking into RDO right now. But from the occasional Twitter and forum visits I realized that there is a lot of leaked stuff out there.

 

We never had so much content leaked before in the entire history of RDO.

 

I guess R* really used lockdown to prepare some stuff for the rest of the year as dripfeed while the core team was focused on getting the Naturalist done from home.
