Sadly, without an in-depth way of looking in the files and tuna bowls, we don't know what else is left.

They can start going through the Feb stuff if they truly run out of new clothing, which they basically have at this point. The update will come when it's ready and not when the dripfeed ends sadly.

 

According to my challenges it's been about 62 days or so since the update so I'm confident we'll get it soonish.

Let's all remember the last time R* said "this Summer" for RDR2 news during pre-release. It was literally the last day of Summer.

Well, GTA is getting the casino update on the 23rd.  How much longer will we have to wait?  The last newswire said something like "pay attention to the newswire in the coming weeks for details on the summer update".....It's going to be a long wait

Could be anytime before September 23rd, when summer ends. Last Tuesday before then is the 17th, I hope it's not that far off.

I always have to laugh at R*'s "soon" and "coming weeks" verbage.

 

A year is made up of weeks. So are decades and centuries.

 

Sometimes it feels as long.

Next week Casino update for GTA Online, indeed. I've watched the video and can't say I'm hyped to jump in. I also don't think it's a very lonewolf friendly update. The mentioned "membrership perks" make me assume there's gonna be a lot of grinding involved, like the Arena. 

 

And to think it will launch before the RDO update, while announced later, it doesn't bode well for a July release for RDO's summer update. I'm guessing early to mid August.

Since my daily streak is already broken as f*ck, I guess a few extra weeks without playing won't hurt.

It's lost my interest a bit as well.  If it wasn't for a close friend that I play with, I probably wouldn't be playing much at all.  Come August 7th they will be going away for a while and we were really hoping it would drop before then for his sake, but the outlook of that actually happening is pretty grim.

I'd guess that R* will get at least a few weeks of the dripfeed out of the way over in GTAO before RDO gets its summer update. I'm thinking late August at the earliest, possibly into September.

I'm not overly hyped, but a new property, new missions, garage space and new cars will pass a few hours and help with the wait for the RDO update.

 

I'm far more interested in the roles we're getting in RDO than the entirety of the Casino DLC, but I've put over 5 years into GTAO, so I guess that's to be expected.

August 13th would be almost exactly 3 months after the Spring Update, but it's probably too soon after the Casino Update.

 

September seems too late for me.

 

August 20th is right before gamescom, so I don't think they will do that.

 

August 27th would allow GTAO a little more than 4 weeks of dripfed, makes sense to me.

I watched the Casino resort vid without sound on just yet. My daughter thought I was watching a vid of a new The Sims expansion..... couldn't blame her either...

I don't think they'd rearrange release windows due to numbers. I'd say it's more people just reading too much into the language used in the updates.

No, and was never stated to be such, On average R* update every 3 months and next RDO was said to be summer aftyer there last updat Mid May then expect it from Aug onwards, Also unlike R* update history GTAO has had its last 2 "3 monthy" updates yet hence the Casino update will go out first

So, I was wrong about RDO coming next, real bummer that GTAO is still making them so much $ and I believe that is the real difference maker. 

 

The casino dlc has probably been ready for a long while....its feels like a shamless ploy to get people back (definitely will work on me, temporarily)...burn that game with fire at this point, no cosmestic DLC will change my mind.

 

We are really going to see what happens when R* adds gambling to a title that has an acutal player base.  It was pretty clear they were testing the waters with RDO.  I have always believed "gambling" is legal in these games because its only simulated which has been allowed for years.

 

  But the microtransaction simulated gambling is still very much up in the air.  I think R* is of course going for another cash grab, Canadian devil level, with this Casino DLC.  It certainly feels like they are negelecting their newest game.

 

  But to be honest, I am not mad at all, but RDO is twice the game.  I logged in to check my stats and saw the kill feed and was like oh yeah, thats why RDO is a much better game.  The kill feed is an invitation for morons to blast their fake names to 30 people. I cant believe how I tolerated and even enjoyed it myself.   RDO has a feed based on player location...I think.

 

This DLC is a sure sign that more gambling will be coming to RDO.

Apparently there are some new secret collectible things added to GTAO - finding all of them unlocks some exclusive reward in RDO...

Logged into GTAO and unlocked a mask for RDO. Seen the message pop up when entering the Casino shop.

After you get that pop-up, there's another one that reads as follows:

 

"Find hidden Playing Cards throughout Los Santos and Blaine County to earn Casino Chips and RP. Collect them all to unlock bonus rewards and an exclusive reward in Red Dead Online."

 

Saw it in Broughy's stream, at just after the 01:24:10 mark.

For the playing cards? Sounds like they're hidden all over the map - and IIRC, you don't need "VIP membership" or a penthouse just to go inside the casino.
