Yeah, mid december is the date... maybe if i had more stall and outfit slots, a well rounded rifle, i would be good with it.

Legendary Animals will all be available from Harriet like the Legendary Bounty Missions at the end of the drip feed. This is likely being done so that they have ‘new content’ for a while.

 

They are likely to be randomised to you only get a select few at a time like the bounty boards but a session change will give a different select few like the bounty boards.

 

A select few each time is to prevent multiple different players having the same mission / area to search, like the bounty boards since these are in free roam and not a separate lobby like the Legendary Bounty Missions.

As for spawning issues, even in the correct weather, it’s still quite random, the same as other free roam events not spawning in the correct conditions, so there is the random factor in place also.

Yeah the first six months to a year of next gen will likely be Rockstar concentrating on GTAO updates for next gen that won’t be available on PS4 / Xbox one, but will probably be one or two final updates for RDO on PS4 / Xbox during that time.

 

If there is Red Dead Redemption 2 / Red Dead Online for next gen, it will likely come in the fall of 2021, most likely near the anniversary date of the release of RD2 on current gen most likely, the same as the PC launch basically.

First time I've seen this--and finally(!)--kicking in doors or breaking locks (Fort Wallace) in free roam; not a mission. The door-kicking animation is fairly good (and fun, I might add).

 

Got inside by shooting some guards; another guard comes out on his horse... doors still open, I invade the fort. The kickable door with the breakable lock is the ammo room:

Question

 

I saw a pic some time back where one of forumites was bragging with kills and there was just everything on that screen-shot, i mean all the possible stats....from where to acces that ?

The only stats in game are inside the Player Menu on the pause menu it's all the way to the right.

For those asking how many Legendary Animals there are in total.

 

There are 14 different types of Legendary Animals and 3 different breeds for each Legendary Animal type, making 42 Legendary Animals overall.

 

In the spoiler tags below are all the black and white images of each legendary from the game.

 

There also enough Legendary Animals in the drip feed to take us right up until the last week in October, so those wanting to complete all LAs will be in for a wait and it is also only going to continue to be two per week, with the 3rd of each Legendary Animal type being released in the final week(s).

Note: Some Legendary Animals are PS4 exclusive, which are the Legendary Rams currently from the information I have available to me, some others could be PS4 exclusive but the Legendary Rams are only known to be PS4 exclusive at this time.

Edit: Also some of images are Legendary Animals' are only available from Harriet.

I have a question for @ fun2 and @Adamuk. what will we get next weeks except legendary animals (so until Halloween).  could we get new free roam missions ?  if so, who are the conact Person or are there new random missions.

I don't think there is any new free roam events / missions or random missions for the Naturalist update other than those related to the Halloween content that will most likely be available for two weeks, last week of October, first week of Novembers. If there are any other missions related to LAs, these will most likely come after all LAs have been released.

There is animals on that list that are only found in Guarma. That is very interesting.

We also got a camp flag of Guarma in the Outlaw Pass.

you are right it seems that we have a heirat mission  in the last LAs drip feed content in guarma or that we can travel freely to guarma.

At this moment in time, it's a bit of both, but considering they did the same type of drip feed with Legendary Bounty Missions, it make sense that they would do this, but even if they don't at the end of the drip feed all 42 LAs will be available in free roam anyway and since the LA missions are random each time, the drip feed LAs should eventually be moved there also much like the Legendary Bounties that were moved back to the Bounty Boards once all the content from the drip feed had finished.

Oh and I forgot to mention in my post with all the images that some of the LAs are PS4 exclusive for a period of time, which are the Legendary Rams currently from the information I have available to me, some others could be PS4 exclusive but the Legendary Rams are only known to be PS4 exclusive at this time. When the drip feed is done or before, I think it's only 30 days from the date the Naturalist Role was released, the Legendary Rams will be available on all platforms.

So this is actually a panther, not a jaguar:

 

 

 

Going by the corn stalks, the panther will be found in Bayou NWA. It’s also the same panther that pounces at the end of the Naturalist trailer.

 

I have a feeling the “Ywakta Panther” will get a Sighting mission. I would love to get a photo of it stalking in a tree for the photo challenge.

which role do you think will come with the next major update ? and do you think that rdo will play with the next generation from 1898 to 1907 or 1911 or 1914.

The Ghost Panther location is Bayou NWA

Both locations are where the normal Panthers spawn. So it's unlikely that the Ywakta Panther to be the location, but as you've noted the corn stalks, I'm taking a guess that could be the Saint Denis area of Bayou NWA though.

I don't have information on any future content other than the Naturalist Role, as I can only get the information by what currently is in the game files. Rockstar are unlikely to spoil a future role by adding it to the game files early, and also the next role likely hasn't been thought or finalised yet. Rockstar could also change direction half way through anything they are currently working on so even if information for a future role were in the files, it could be scraped or removed at any time.

It's unlikely there will be any type of generation jump, as RDO is set before RDR2 story, and most of the missions currently contain characters that are dead by the end of RDR2 so it's unlikely to happen, as missions will need to be removed or rewritten so it is my opinion that there won't be any jump in the timeline and I don't think there needs to be.

As I've said before, some of my posts are my own opinion, or what I've found from going through the information and assets contained in the game files and I will always link anything I've found that may be of interest or to confirm anything.

 

 

 

 

I forgot to add to the list of Legendary Animal images, that some are Legendary Animals' currently only available from Harriet.

I haven't been able to find information relating to whether these will eventually be able to spawn in Free Roam at the end of the Drip Feed.
