We're on! They seemed to have fixed it. Level 20 Naturalist... just came across the Emerald Wolf whilst on my way to look for the Chalk Horn Ram.

The Butcher's Table problem (missing from the list -> can't buy it -> can't start the Trader role) still HASN'T been fixed? Are you serious? This is affecting hundreds of players.

Will this patch the alligator spawns or fix the "dc"s...I dont know which is worse.  I will probably fix a unkown money glitch thats being run somewhere.

Well i hadn't seen one legendary animal in free roam since the first day of the update. Since the patch tonight I've gotten two legendary animals in free roam and no dc. So it's looking good so far.

just sayin: ever since the naturalist was introduced, I ran into exactly TWO legendary animals by accident. was both legendary boars. one I used for gus, the other for harriet. role XP were underwhelming in both cases.

It looks like the only changes were made to the executable, scripts remain the same. I think it just includes fixes to connection errors and maybe animal spawns, but I'm not sure if the latter happened cause the lobbies were smaller than before, or it's an actual fix.

Naturalist Role XP for Gus will always be bad... Gus isn't part of the Naturalist Role, so you'll always get 0 Naturalist Role XP from him.

How can I make money if the camp doesn’t work anymore??? 
 

after the latest patch my game is fully broken on PS4, unable to do anything, barely was able to complete one daily challenge to save my streak. I was enjoying the new update so much before this patch.

You know, technically tomorrow the tunables should update and a new weekly event should start. But will Rockstar have the nerve to do that and post their article with all the chaos that's been going on? I wonder

Are we getting dripfeed same day as gtao getting dlc?

Be sure to check some of the broken wagons with broken off wheels when you pass them, there is a lockbox nearby with an Alcohol Bottle inside. Sometimes there is a drunk NPC near by that asks you to look after the wagon!

 

I encountered the drunk version outside of Rhodes a couple days ago and it had an Irish Whisky bottle and the one I just passed near the Big Valley Trapper location had a Gran Corazon Madeira Bottle.

 

So be sure to check them out instead of passing them thinking it’s just scenery Rockstar have added that does nothing.

With any other developer, not a soul who draws a check would sleep until a new patch was done. The game is unfathomably busted.

 

With that said, I have a feeling Rockstar will carry on with the tunables as though everything is business as usual.

So is there something special about that Elephant Gun except that the sucker is huge and has a hell of a recoil? I was toying around with it and even shooting an npc, point blank that was not a few feet in front of me and that gun didn't even stun them. To be fair their target bloom did turn grey so maybe the game was just glitched out today? 

 

Not that I know a whole lot about guns, I'm a blade girl myself, but this gun seems to work worse than my least favorite shotgun. Isn't the gun representative of those big hunting guns one would use to take down large prey like rhinos and water buffalo, etc? I mean if a bandit can take a hit with a gun like that point blank and still fire back something has got to be wrong. Not to mention the fact that I had the darn thing aimed at the head/upper torso of another npc mounted on horseback and ended up taking his horse down even when I wasn't aimed anywhere near the animal. But he sure was able to get up like nothing? Even with a shotgun the man would have fallen before the horse?

It'll be business as usual, tunables update, if that was going to happen anyway, will happen regardless of the state of the game.

 

I also wouldn't bet against, in typically tone deaf fashion, R* just putting out the Newswire later with the game still broken as f*ck.

For those that may not have noticed (I certainly didn't) you can now eat all meats you have stored in your satchel from the items wheel, previously you had to go into your satchel each time you wanted to eat any type of meat each time, now you can just use the items wheel to quickly restore your core and to eat more than once without having to open your satchel each time.
