I mean it doesn't take an actual player to make an enemy. We deal with more npc outlaws in this game than we do players who think that they are, so I don't think it's that ridiculous for players who do not like pvp to want an outlaw role.

 

 

On the Halloween pass, I hope they go all out (bet they won't). And that shack decor is so going to be mine! Maybe they can offer some new coats for the horses, 

 

Wishful thinking but I really want that coat on Famine, his markings are neat. 

 

Add some cool/creepy strangers and random encounters to the map and I will be all over it. I love creepy.

I was just collecting some samples and all of a sudden had three 2000XP coupons, and then $1000 deposited. I dont see anywhere you get a $1K bonus, seems very random.

I have a few thoughts regarding the naturalist update that might be controversial to most people here but please read the entire thing before getting angry at me.

 

I personally think this update is a game changer for the better, in a couple of years when RDO is booming we will be able to look back at this update and say this was the start of it all. It is not a perfect update by any means and I will list both pros and cons. Before I get into that I have a few thoughts. I do believe the role stuff was finished before they had to work from home, and the rest of the time was spent on update fixes, which why there were so many qabeta updates. @IzzyBlues93 you were 100% right and I am willing to admit I was 100% wrong when it came to them having issues with mocap, clearly that affected them and slowed them down. I wish I was right but no i was wrong. Which is also why i think we will get a transformation of a current role instead of a new role at the end of the year (let's hope I am wrong about that because if they are planning on adding a new heist to GTAO they must be expecting to do mocap at some point this year). Below I will list pros and cons for this update.

 

CONS:

1) Only 1 role

2) If you are not into hunting the role won't work for you

3) OP3 is same price as OP2 but with 20 less levels

4) The first few levels of the naturalist role are terrible

5) The role outfits are terrible (worst ones yet)

 

I know people have more cons but for me personally those are the only cons.

 

PROS:

1) For me (I love hunting in RDO) the role is awesome

2) I am not mad at them patching the collector role because it was expected and I have another money method that I will share with people once I test it properly (It is waiting for a jeanropke legendary animals map, and me hitting level 20, I am currently level 10 naturalist).

3) The trapper is really cool and give R* the option to add a lot more content in the future.

4) The legendary animals are really cool and have been integrated really well through the open world and missions (we don't even have the cool ones yet)

5) The dripfeed for this update is actually gonna last a while which is cool

6) For completionists this update will last months, even if you play everyday

7) THE BUG FIXES (I cannot not emphasize this enough, OMG dynamic events and animals are everywhere it is mind blowing, RDO feels like a completely different game with everything working properly.

8 ) They have set up a foundation where they can add so much in the future by fixing the game. Clearly the few months of just focusing on bug fixes really transformed the game.

9) Once you pass rank 5 and start unlocking missions from Harriot for legendary animals the role becomes really fun.

10) The new weapons are awesome (I LOVE the new bow and the new variant you buy from the trapper)

11) They added some unique gameplay features through Harriot (They are actually making you have to choose plus they make you think about the things you do).

12) Unlike madam Nazar, Harriot and Gus are all over the map (super convenient)

13) The community made outfits that will come because of the trapper will be insane.

14) I really like the new daily challenge system

15) campfire is a game changer (I just need them to add a gril so I can cook more than one meat at a time)

16) I personally enjoy the new gameplay loop (I am telling you all once I get my money method tested and share it with you all it will be awesome)

 

I also love what they will do regarding the Halloween pass, I think that is an AMAZING idea. I see them adding something new all the time from this game. I wouldn't expect anything truly massive (Mexico, zombies, or heists) untill mid 2022 on PS5 and XboxSX. I could be wrong about zombies and we see them this Halloween. I think they are building an incredible foundation for this game and this update was a major step up.

 

Again I know it is all personal preference, fortunately for me this update is fun and I enjoy it, I know not everyone does, All I am asking is look at all the positives, I am not trying to change your opinion, I am just telling you where I am coming from when I praise this update throughout the coming months.

I withdraw my opinion about the update.  we have many problems today than before the update.  In the last weeks before the update everything was great except the animal respown.  now only the animal respown works great, but the game is now almost unplayable .

• Horses sometimes won't fast travel.
• Horses will appear on the map, however, won't approach when whistled.
• Horse frozen when exiting Harriets/Naturalist vendor menu.
• Horses have pelts on the back randomly.
• Photos taken aren't counting towards the compendium/animal book.
• Visual glitches/textures shimmering a lot.
• Unable to study animals.
• Wagons cannot be summoned.
• Only you can have 5 clothing still in the hours but he sey that you have 7 clothing still

Classic Rockstar. 10 steps forward and 15 steps back.

 

I did have issues with my horse not running to me when whistled. Turns out it was stuck at the camp which was halfway across the map... I ignored it and thought it was just a once off, but lo and behold. Seems everyone is running into that issue. I've also experienced distant flickering but nothing too major, and I posted this in another thread but my characters hair gets tucked INTO her shirt for some reason with the long loose waves hairstyle (see picture below).

 

 

With the long loose waves hairstyle + wearing a hat, a nice big patch of hair is missing from the back of her scalp unless I take the hat off. It was pissing me off way too much so I've changed her hairstyle for now. I don't know if it was a style/design choice, but I have a feeling it's a glitch. And I know from experience, when I had long hair, having it tucked inside your clothes was the worst feeling ever.

rockstar has to make a server only for animals and for Trader rolle and naturalists rolle .so that we will no longer see any bugs  in rdo if they make it.

apparently rokstar only worked on animal respown and left everything free.   now we have many animals as enough.  rokstar won't have to focus on animals in the future.  I was hoping for everything except an animal roll because it brings a lot of problems.  most of the problems in rdo were due to the animal respown that destroyed the game.

Also one thing that came to mind were the Harriet cutscenes when you start a mission. I mean she's a damn pretty girl even with all of the muck on her face and she's a strong contender for Madam Nazar's place, because I love her mannerisms and what Rockstar have done with her character.  But something seems to be.. off in those cutscenes. She looks as if she's looking past you when she's speaking, and not at you and it looks weird as hell.

I've seen a lot of talk about this issue. I use the male long ponytail hairstyle and haven't noticed anything yet, but I've seen people have problems with the long hair options. They tried to make things more form-fitting in this update. I've noticed the bandoliers don't stick out as much now, but that also means they clip slightly with certain clothes
