R* truly has destroyed everyone’s hype and faith, I don’t blame any of you. Personally I’m still extremely hyped for tomorrow because I enjoy being hyped, if nothing happens I’ll just continue playing Ghosts of Tsushima (it’s amazing btw)

I'm certainly not holding out hope for fear of being disappointed, but with the event week lasting 2 weeks (while GTAO's only lasts one) I think tomorrow could be the day we hear something. With no need for a weekly newswire it's the perfect time to use that slot to reveal something. 

 

I see no reason to think Rockstar have jumped ship on RDO. If GTA had been getting updates and announcements while RDO got nothing then it would be safe to assume that was the case. But GTA is in the same boat right now, 7 months without updates

There are also these 'mp_roles_tier' icons, and I haven't seen them use in the game, unless they were the original icons for each role that got changed to the plain ones or something.. as there isn't one for the Moonshiner Role.

Some people are just ignorant or arrogant.

 

They ask "Why do people think they had something planned this year?"

 

Then you list a bunch of valid reasons like Newswires, Interviews, Investor calls and credible sources.

 

Their response: "Ah means nothing baseless speculation".

 

And then they change the topic to something else that wasn't even the point of the discussion like: "Strauss Zelnick is a liar" or "How do you know they had 3 updates planned?".

 

It's annoying.

 

Please can we just agree that people are right to believe they had something planned? The community was right to expect something. And please stop being arrogant about people speculating or hoping. I don't know, maybe you feel superior by doing that. But if you don't care about specualtion, then just leave this thread honsetly.

 

 

Also, the role symbols. Another hint the lawman role is coming.

My bet:

 

- Deputy Role (Expansion to Bounty Hunter, requires good honor)

- Expansion to Collector (includes photography, but is called something else)

- Upgrades to existing roles (New cooperative collections, legendary animals, trapper to craft clothing, talismans)

- 2 new property types (1st part of deputy, 2nd communal space outside of the role framework but you can buy a part)
