Can't lie, it would prove a good source of entertainment if GTA:O got news of an update and even got it before RDRO.

 

To me though, I can see why they would if they did. If R* in any way feel RDRO has dropped off and as we know GTA:O has thrived with the alien shenanigans all the while, maybe they use the popularity of GTA:O to raise awareness and then give RDRO news while folk are about to see it all in hope of capturing a wider audience for RDRO.

Yea, SP was so great it nearly makes it excusable and technically they didn’t owe us online, but they promised us that grinding was worthwhile.  They promised to be the glue holding together any friendships we made along the way.

 

They didn’t have to repeat that message over and over again up until after this pandemic started.  Even if it were true, they waited so long I don’t have people to play their updates with.

Pandemic situation, maybe their structure is too big to work by remote work. Wait until the crisis is over to judge that the game is abandoned.

What if they were planning on announcing the update on July 21st and release on July 28th the whole time. (maybe thats why the event week lasts 2 weeks, it saves them from posting an extra newswire next tuesday plus they won't need to update tunables and no one will complain). Just our luck the whole clown movement just started, meaning we didn't force them to release information. They are still gonna take credit for it "you asked, we listened and delivered" kind of BS, or they won't mention it at all and it will all be swept under the rug. I mean none of the major sites are talking about it anymore, and its been proven R* cares a lot more about the major sites than what Youtubers have to say. Let's say that's the case and we get an announcement on tuesday, next time there is a huge gap between updates (I hope this never happens again) we should start a movement much much sooner, maybe 5 months in?

I know this isn't the place but story should get DLCs earlier than online. the way story mode is designed, it feels much more better than online, even in the gameplay. I think we should play as 30s hosea setting up dutch's gang and all the good stuff before what happened at RDR2. second story DLC should be about zombies taking place in an alternate universe where the whole gang fight against zombies, not just john. both of these, they are ABSOLUTELY LIT. should happen, otherwise it's a missed opportunity

as for the online, it doesnt feel as immersive as story but it should get lawmen, bank robberies and MEXICO update at the very least, and expansions for collector and bounty hunter roles. those are the two roles I consider would be the best for a true expansion, the other two (trader and moonshiner) can be fine with price upgrades (1000 instead of 625 for example)

I might be biased because gta v and rdr2 are the only games I have installed right now, and gta v I haven't played in months. so I would love a meaty proper RDR2 update

Since you asked, current state of RDO and your Upgrades of it just doesn't fit the description of quality MMO in my books, sry. Its actually Single Player without coolest Story ever faced in Video Games, playing those Roles wears off in two weeks time....even Marston after Credits is more immersive.....

I'm curious if they are to extend the other two roles, Lawman is a certainty but... what would the Collector extend to? Archaeologist? 

 

I'd also bet R* was planning on the next set of Land of Opportunity missions but with the pandemic they probably had to call it off.

there are 3 options why the update is late: first, that the update is being postponed because of the pandemic (as a mo-cap)

 

2. rokstar is waiting for the next consoles genration

 

3. because of the hate against the photograph role, rokstar has decided  change the spring update and bind with the summer update and fatten up new interesting roles. 

 

my opinion is the first point and hope that the 3 point is correct.

Could have our own gold / high value jewelry or something type business, much like moonshiner but more interactive where we would find gold or items, or base metals throughout the world for our business, that someone like marcel does for moonshine would create whatever items for us and when we have enough, we sell to customers.
 

Could even use the collectibles we find to add to buyers demands, since Nazar only takes full sets, could be where a buyer wants five different coins, five different type of jewelry, as well as anything else that we need to make ourselves by collecting / ordering materials etc.

They are lazy or something else the delay not because COVID, this is not an excuse look at the other companies , I am not talking about epicgames ( Fortnite ) , I am talking about high graphics games like rainbow six siege , call of duty warezone and too many other games they release new updates with new contents & they are working remotely from home too like rockstargames so this is not excuse from rockstargames because the pandemic

Seriously, they can add stealth elements in Photography Role. Maybe you would do certain acts a paparazzi would do like reporting on the infidelity or corruption of a Saint Denis Politician by infiltrating a party in disguise (designed like a Hitman level) or it can be something wacky like snapping horses having sex or taking a hot air ballon to take certain photos. That'll finally add balloons as a purchasable property.

I was trying their Bounty Mission Bonuses for the week when I realized the bonus only applies to LEGENDARY ones.  The Armadillo sheriff didn't seem to GAF much like Rockstar.
