Although on Steam Database both QABeta 2 & QABeta 3 Were updated about 5 and 6 hours ago. You always have to wonder what they are doing behind the scenes.

They won’t say anything lol. It’s just free publicity for their game if anything.

There’s an earnings call in a couple of weeks.  I imagine there’s someone out there just a little nervous about the promises they made on their last call, and this new media attention.

eh, they promised a full year of robust content on the last call.  Even made an unforced error in reassuring everyone as much when COVID started.   You can tell they’re cognizant of it.  Check their Instagram.  If you didn’t play the game you’d think we’re getting updates.  That’s what their shareholders/analysts would think too.  They are making animated Gifs of last years content, with no mention of it being last years content, for a reason: fraud.

I think all of this happened in perfect time right before their earnings call, I imagine they want all of this mess sorted out before the call, so I think we should be seeing news on the next few weeks!

They went from making the most successful entertainment product of all time (GTAV), probably the greatest work of art ever in gaming (RDR2) to frauds.  Honestly, could be a factor in their executive exodus.  If you invest in a pharmaceutical company and some new drug fails in testing, they have to tell you.   There’s nothing legally different protecting Rockstar from the same catastrophic and justified penalties other public companies have to consider. 
 

It’s funny because they may be in a predicament where dropping an update before the call also draws attention to the fact that we haven’t gotten one in 7 months lol

Isn't the earnings call in two weeks? I heard it was on August 3rd. That leaves us with about two weeks maybe to announce something? Ironically enough this weekly "Update" is going on for two weeks also and ends on July 27th. Maybe we will hear about something on July 28th? Because that is the last Tuesday before Take Two's Earnings call. But who really knows?

They will not be honest, too expensive! Not much is certain these days, except uncertainty.

I don't think we'll hear anything from Rockstar regarding the clowns. We might get an announcement for an update soon but I predict they won't mention the clowns or the drought at all. Modders spawning in 2 headed skeletons and dressing as Klan members gained media attention, but Rockstar themselves never addressed it. They just quietly put out a background patch to fix it (which didn't last very long). 

 

It will be interesting though to see what happens during the investor call

Humor from rockstar on this would literally be the last straw for me, and I’d never trust them enough to invest time on any of their games again.  I pray they have the sense not to try and be cute.

If that happened without anyone noticing, that’s the point where I’d go from losing respect for Rockstar to losing respect for gaming media altogether.
 

 We should start asking some of the reporters who lauded this game as a masterpiece, what their thoughts are now.  What do they have to say about the game they helped sell us?  Shouldn’t they hold Rockstar accountable for promising their readers we’d be the next Leviticus Cornwall?

I’d honestly love it, cause it would be new and it would show that they actual make new things for this game. lol.   Hopefully it’s expensive so I can spend some of the worthless fortune I’ve accumulated over months

Rockstar devs are known for their humour, it's what GTA is built on, and even though RDR2 is a more "serious" kind of game and genre, the SP is still full of little funny bits and oddities. That humour and a bit of honesty could save all this without anything new even being added to the game. It's why the silence feels kinda ... clinical or something? Not the spunk we're used to.
