Seriously speaking, not sure if this was mentioned before, but it turns out there's a cut free roam event called "Treasure Hunt".

Quote

"Loot map pieces to find treasure."

 

"Found complete map piece"

 

"Found partial map piece"

 

"Loot map pieces to narrow the search area"

 

"Loot new players to shrink the search area faster"

 

"Kill players to narrow the search area and find the treasure first"

Sounds very similar to Condor Egg, which lost interest over time.

So the actors that play Sadie, Dutch, and Arthur are playing RDO live in 4 hours streamed on youtube.

Found partial map piece? Sounds kind of like what they said in an interview where members of a posse would find pieces of a collectible and bring them together. When was this found or added?

I believe it's an event that was cut since day one, but I can't confirm.

Game Spot is hosting it, but Rockstar retweeted Game Spot's tweet about it yesterday so I imagine they're at least involved

just checked, it’s a charity stream so idk if they’ll announce or tease anything during a charity stream :(

It would still work well for a future collectoe posse event or free roam event, I’m guessing they can bring it anytime, not sure how cut content actually works.

Most likely make sure they have an invite only lobby if necessary. 

 

Won't be a good look to have those 3 constantly disconnecting and when they can play have them in public with a combination of no animals, bounties not starting, can't get in the shack and getting smoked by an all in white griefer posse called "alllivesmatter".

 

Having said that, if it's on PS4 and in a public lobby, I'd want to be in it.

I, perhaps naively, have far more faith in the RDO community and player base than I ever had in that of GTAO (that and I was always more than happy to see GTAO streams get griefed).

 

I think if the stream was public we'd see the true colour of the community, there would undoubtedly be an attempt to grief, but I'm sure there would be more players wanting to help them than grief them. 

 

They'd probably struggle to get anything done because players would be trying to get screenshots of their character with the RDR2 gang.

My guess would be this as well. They will play on dedicated R* test servers with NDA restricted players for flavour.

I have not seen much of the other two but the guy that plays Arthur is genuinely a good guy and he seems to keep up with the RDR2 community and its memes so the posse name would be his idea is guess.
