To add on to the PC patch thing:

Rockstar has been releasing monthly PC patches to address any issues that pop up, so they're not really waiting for content updates to bring PC-specific fixes. All-platform issues are still there tho and that might come instead in a content patch.

its easier to push out patches for PC titles because they don't need to go through cert like Xbox/PS4 does

I remember the PC version had all sorts of issues and bugs, I suppose Rockstar dedicated some of their time to balance it out.

In an ideal world they would release a monthly patch for all three versions of the game but unfortunately each version has its own separate issues, along with how different the process is to push out updates on consoles. It would be really fascinating to know why Activision or Epic can release patches so frequently for their games while R* doesn't do it so often. Especially since all three companies are MASSIVE and GTO, COD Warzone & Fortnite are probably the three biggest online games across all platforms.

Maybe for expanded & enhanced RDR2 NextGen, but not RDO.

 

All limited clothing returning for one week as well as good bonuses give me hope for an update announcement on June 30th for July 10th maybe. And then a week after that on July 16 maybe they announce RDR2 for NextGen on Xbox stage.

They could milk it.  Make it part of next gen, make it exclusive to single player RDR Remake for 3-4 months, then open it to RDO.

This would be so great to have! I have enough money now to buy provisions and not worry about cost, but I prefer cooking my food and it gets super tedious cooking stacks of 30 meats.

Another QABETA3 Update 2-3 Minutes ago. Looks like we still have to wait a long time for the update  If Rockstar could only communicate with us and give us a nice trailer / information

Opposite way round if it ever comes to Single Player. More like make it exclusive to the PS5 for three months. If they added it to Single Player it would just be an expanse of useless land with some Hideouts, SP wold need a reason/story to go there and they aint gonna do that for free.

RDO is far, far away from over! Yes it looks like it's dead at the moment. But I think the future will bring us some nice and good updates and fun into the game. Just give it "some" more time

I have no proof but it is my prediction that RDR2 will be shown at the July Xbox event. It makes sense for R* to milk both companies, RDR2 is currently in Xbox Game Pass and they can use it to show off the Smart Delivery system. I also expect RDR2 to be part of SD with MS footing the bill or at least have the next gen version of RDR2 in game pass on day one for three months.

I always aim to make a certain amount of cash in RDO so that I have plenty available for the next update and Outlaw Pass. I’ve just hit my latest goal of 500 gold and $20,000. I have nothing left to aim for because I’m never going to spend that much even if they release heaps of new content. So...

SiE has a marketing deal with Rockstar for Red Dead 2. Anything Rockstar related isn't going to make an appearance at Microsoft's show in July. And I believe that show will be solely focused on Xbox Game Studios (aka Microsoft's first-party). But I think Sony has another event for the PS5 later this year so its pretty much possible to see it there.

It is active. Red Dead Online receives exclusive PlayStation Plus content on a regular basis. Also to worthy to note Jim Ryan also confirmed the partnership with Sony continues at the PS5 event.

Fair point, just saying that everything I have read said that Sony only had rights to RDR2 for a year. Perhaps the marketing rights for RDR2 and RDO are different.

Oops when I said SP, I meant a RDR1 Remake, releasing that as a "new" game.
