I thought it was for a new update, but turns out it's just for another PC patch.

We usually check how close we are to getting a new patch or a new update by checking qabeta2, but that's not a rule that Rockstar has to follow, they can use any build to test the new update.

all i really want to see in the next update is that they have fixed the graphics in story-mode and the missing tables and such are back. The graphics in story-mode seem to be set lower than the graphics in RDO.

I'm talking about on xbox1, not sure about PS4.

I think this will be the last event week because today they reduced the Monschschin items and that was the only thing that was not reduced. I think we will hear something about the new major update either tomorrow or Friday or the next Tuesday

Very disappointed , so weird they release a PC Patch from time to time what about a Full DLC Update !!!! , they dont have time to release New Update , 6 Months without New Contents , dont tell me because Covid-19 or Due to pandemic , All Other Games companies they already released updates for their games like fortnite , call of duty , rocket league and many except rockstargames 6 months without New DLC Update Lol

The thing is, why would they release a patch for PC if they are planning to release a new update within the next couple weeks? Wouldn't they just wait and add whatever fixes they had into the update? 

 

Also regarding the limited clothing, don't they sometimes say it's available for one week and then just extend it the next week? 

 

I really want to be hopeful for a new update soon but this is just more of the same

The pc patch fixed the issue where people were sending messages and claiming to be R*. I think it was kind of an emergency fix, people were using it to send racist messages pretending to be R*. Feels like an emergency fix that couldn’t wait for an update (even if the update is next week or in two weeks) kind of trying to avoid bad press before it gets picked up. The KKK spawning was only picked up by press after R* fixed it and they all gave R* a nice pat on the back, I think they are just trying to avoid bad press.

Ah yeah, gotcha. I hadn't seen the patch notes when I posted and figured it was just the usual "stability issue fixes." That makes sense
