In the current economic climate it will be at least 18 months, or when a vaccine becomes viable. A lot of small to medium size businesses are going broke in the next 6 months, and the unemployment rate in general will not be dropping anytime soon.

See that’s the issue, for some weird reason there isn’t coverage. For some reason places like IGN, Gamespot, Kotaku, Bloomberg, Inside gaming daily, and most other news outlets never talk about R*s online games, they cover R* heavily when a single player game is about to come out, but when it comes to their online games, you never hear a thing. So technically there isn’t pressure on R* to fix anything. Whenever they have an update they heavily market it for a week, people come back to the game and they make a boat load of money. I don’t think R* or Take2 cares if people spend their money on a weekly or monthly basis. I think their strategy is release 3-4 updates a year and make so much money during those periods it covers for the entire year. I think they only care about that huge spike during update week, meaning when it comes to their bottom lines they don’t need to make immediate fixes. They already know hardcore players will never buy gold or shark cards, so their main goal is to make sure the first week an update comes out the game looks good and shiny. I weirdly didn’t see any moonshiner bugs until after the first week. Unfortunately for us, from a business stand point they know what they are doing and they are damn good at it. (I’m not trying to argue, this is simply what I think)

It's an indication of something coming, either a new patch like the recent PC patch or the new update.

I won't expect it to be a new patch when we got the recent one just last week, it actually means the developers are working on it, not that it's prepared for release.

I would say it's possibly the new update seeing as Rockstar is yet to update qabeta3 and the last update was a bit weird, I won't get too hopeful.

Also, the event pics for GTA Online are up a bit early. A bit strange, unless they have something else to announce which could be RDO related, but it could be nothing.

That and just to have someone with some historical Western cred. IOW someone knowledgeable enough that they wouldn't be using Back to the Future as their main source of information.

TLOU2 comes out tomorrow which means I can get distracted for about a week, no thinking about RDO!!! I know this isn’t the place but been waiting on this since they announced it at the end of 2016, I’m sooooo excited!!!

My point was on YouTubers alone because that was the main point you were trying to make. I wasn't talking about video game journalism.
