When can we expect the new update ? Or when rockstar will tease a trailer for RDR2 next update ?!!!

New cars added to the podium list, so if R* are gonna release all of them before a new dlc drops, that puts us unti the end of June / early July.

Did Rockstar remove the last few Red Dead newswires? Last weeks doesnt lead anywhere anymore https://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/61564/Get-Bonus-RDO-and-Gold-in-Showdown-Modes-and-Races and the most recent one shown now is April 8th

Yes, I looked at the newswire 4 hours ago and the last event weeks were still there.

No, it isn't. I retired from GTAO some time ago and if that game didn't have invite only/solo lobbies, I'd not have played it for longer than a day, no matter the content.

This game, and especially the support from Rockstar, is in a terrible state and no fixes or updates in sight. 
Trust me, Rockstar games aren't ruling my console and I'm not feeling miserable without them, nor am I a Rockstar fanboy. 
I loved RDO and hoped for it to become the game it deserves to be, but love, patience and understanding ends somewhere.

This happened a few times already. The wire they posted was probably incomplete or incorrect for some reason.

Red Dead doesn’t have nearly the playerbase of GTA. And the people that do play are an older and less easily-impressed demographic. There’s not nearly as many blind fanboys hyping every little thing.

It should arrive earlier than GTA Online update, considering that it was already in development when we received the Moonshiner update. I'm hoping for a possible release in June.

gtaol update was mentioned in the event week news artical multiple times.but since moonshiner,RDOL update was none! I worry RDOL has lost priority due to less income than gtaol

What do you think is the reason why R* already teases the next GTAO update in their newswires ("Look out for more details in the coming weeks on future updates to GTA Online") but not the next RDO update?

 

Could it be that those 2 teams just follow different strategies? Is it a sign that the GTAO update might actually drop earlier? Or could it just mean that the RDO team only wants to say something when they can properly announce something with info and maybe surprise us?

 

Since the next RDO update might drop in June, I don't think it will only include the Photographer role. The real damaging lockdown started around March for the RDO team as far as I'm concerned, roughly 4 weeks before the supposed internal update date (early April). So if the next update drops in June, they had 8-12 extra weeks for development. Even though the lockdown slowd productivity, I don't believe they need 300% more time just to finish up the update. Especially because I don't believe they planned 4 months just for one role initially.

 

What do you think of the concept of 2 roles coming in the next update? I thought about the lawman, since they talked about it multiple times.

I've noticed they seem to be more lively as well, and they seem to interact with the character more often. 

 

So if there is talk of that photographer role can we hold onto hope that they fix the in game selfie camera to have more assortment of poses again? I only have two poses, the third doesn't even do anything. Probably not, right?

one of the new things I have heard is actually photography related. I was cooking some supplies in camp and heard cripps in the background mention something about seeing a guy with a camera taking photos or something like that. I can't say I have ever heard him say this before, as I'm used to hearing him retelling the tale of limpy pete and phil the crab, along with his other timeless classic quips. it might not be new, but I honestly can't recall hearing him say it before.

then there was something the butcher in valentine uttered as I was riding past about buying stuff off him before he sells out, this one I'm thinking isn't new, but the cripps comment is new to me.

I've never heard him say that either, seems like it could be a hint at what's to come. The npcs are also telling different stories at the shops and they are having more conversations when I ride around St Denis, I've started walking my horse around just to hear them now. Before they hardly made a sound.
