imma guess just a patch. i dont think a dlc is coming this week. especially with no announcement from rockstar. I highly doubt they'd release anything new Tuesday

I expect nothing Tuesday except the usual change in sales and bonuses. A bug-fixing patch would be a pleasant surprise.

Before FP we had a bunch of ability cards leaked, a number of those came with the update, but several not.

Do we know anything about those, are they still coming?

I just saw this on my social club, but I rarely go there so I don't know if it's been there for long, ever before, or whatever

Some ability cards were completely new. Proves that it's not limited to the ones that were discussed

It only hints at a new patch coming soon, the other build which is qabeta had what looked like new files for the next DLC, but Rockstar removed them a few minutes after and replaced the files with ones of an older build of qabeta2.

What does this entail? Does this mean they were planning on releasing something but then they changed their mind and removed everything or is this a way to hide everything from the public?

EDIT: Looks like PC-Only patch

EDIT 2: Suddenly removed, not sure if this was some sort of test, or the patch isn't going live today?

Because they don't give a sh*t. The facts it's going to Game Pass so early proves that RDO is not making the money they say it is. You don't put such a successful Single Player game on a rental service so soon. They want to get people into the playing the Online.

Fingers crossed this upcoming PC only patch holds more weight than the patch on April 3 which only featured small tweaks and fixes for users running multiple GPUs

As it is now with new DLC and this waiting for a new one the playerbase is just earning to much of gold and cash. So there is no need to buy gold in the store! What the game is like a DLC every 3 month and one or two big ones every year! A single player dlc for Mexico is what many are looking forward to if R* is going to announce it. And it is a win-win for both single and multi player!

They shot themselves in the foot with this game by trying to be too clever. There is no need to buy Gold when all the good stuff is locked behind level locks in each DLC. Buying GTAO Dollars is fuelled by the "I want it NOW!" mentality but that cant be stated in this because its all locked behind levels.

 

Yes, you can get clothing and weapons but those are not "must have" items.

^honestly, new clothing items is what I'm looking forward to the most. hopefully the next outlaw pass rewards you with MORE, GOOD looking pieces.

and of course new roles to lvl up, a bit of a fresh wind for some time. to me that'd be enough.

I would love Outlaw Pass #3 Tier's 1 and 100 to feature a bunch of items. Make it enticing at beginning and end. Perhaps a new outfit, weapon variant, horse coat, and maybe something else at both those levels. Not only are battle passes trendy (or standard MTX practice) nowadays, but developers usually weight both extremes pretty heavily to get players into the pass and to keep players grinding for max level.

I just hope that the outfits have interchangeable pieces this time. I would have loved Arthur's shirt and scarf as separate items.

I enjoy clothing but people are not gonna spend a hundred dollars on Gold Bars each update just to buy clothes.

People with loads of completed collections in their bags rank the OP within a day. The previous OPs ran for months, ranked to max in 2-3 days. They'll probably add more vouchers for useless crap. Face it, Rockstar isn't aiming at long term play with RDO. Most Day#1 players I know don't play anymore or just come in for flash visits to keep the streak going. The fact RDR2 has been on sale far more times than GTAV in its first year and RDR2 is playable from many many platforms, indicates that revenue from this game is made from the sales of RDR2 and not from MTXs from RDO. 

I'd like to see sales figures from wholesalers/streaming services/distributors compared to sold copies to individual customers.
