How would this even work in Red Dead Online as it currently stands? It’s incredibly rare to find a lobby with animals. I might find one of those lobbies per fortnight. 
 

One of my friends who hasn’t played Red Dead Online in a long time was planning a big RDO game for a big bunch of friends, to get over the boredom of everyone being locked-in. He’d planned it around a series of tasks involving some specific animal spawns... I had to break it to him that  animals don’t really spawn in RDO any more.

Probably yes. Maybe they could take example from Arcadia for Amateurs and Gunslinger side-quests to add a bit of variety about taking photos of wildlife and gunslingers. If freemode can manage it. Or like Moonshiners, making part of the role in freemode, and story missions apart. Idk, I'm still waiting for a fix for all the connectivity and bugged lobbies issues that are a pain for every old or new content.

 

About animals, I lost the count how many times I've been chased by wolves, cougars, bears, alligators or whatever. Anyway I know it's another of the many issues they still have to fix. As I'd like cities much more populated, similar to singleplayer ones (I've played months in a Los Santos that seemed a ghost town, if compared to singleplayer, before they increased the traffic to make it way more alive).

No idea yet, it's probably some XP bonus which is why I'm yet to notice it, or it could be to do with free roam events.

In terms of cash, there's nothing on showdowns nor roles.

Good to hear. The only thing that bothers me is that they didn't keep the gold bonus.

These Showdowns can be fun and I actually enjoyed them the last 2 weeks even though Last Stand was pretty unbalanced.

But they are so unrewarding. Winning isn't rewarding and the Gold payout is just so minimal.

Just watched your video about this week's bonuses. 100% bonus on role xp for full collection sales? They are definitely trying to get players to part with their collections before a new dlc, to prevent the outlaw pass xp bump it would give to sell the full sets.

I wouldn't even be surprised if they came up with some sort of way to prevent players from doing this. Maybe confiscate our full collections after so many days sitting in the inventory without being sold or something shady like that.

Surely they are trying to get the newer players (who don't know they can save their sets to cheese the next outlaw pass) to dump their collections before the next update. 

 

I dont necessarily think they'll remove our collections if we don't sell them after a certain period of time though. If they did make that bold choice however I would be really upset because it takes a long time to collect those items even when using the interactive map. 

But perhaps they'll introduce additional challenges or something to rank up the pass.

At the very least I am surprised the XP required to rank up these passes has not scaled up and increased every level like normal player ranks. It's been pretty easy to max out and generous on Rockstar's part to make it that way.

These types of battle passes in other games require so much more time played to even make a dent in the ranks sometimes.

And will they work like "On the Hunt" Free Roam Missions? Can we use them both for the Trapper for special clothing unlocks and photography? Will we finally see the continuation of the "A Land of Opportunity" Story? And is there anything else to expect? Properties? Communal Spaces?

Maybe, but if they want me to sell my collections now, they're going to have to come up with something better than role XP. I was rank 20 in Collector about a week after it came out. What's a role XP bonus do for me?

This week is actually okay. Alot of items I never got and the discounts are good and the Bounty money boost is a welcome change. It feels to me like the good weeks they put out before an Update drops.
