Granted, I haven't been playing much at all lately and about a week ago was the 1st time I'd played since January, but all of these same issues happened to both my friend and I the moment we formed a posse. Granted, some pop up when I'm solo but they seem fewer and farther between then in a Posse. I did find out though, if the mission gets 'stuck' when you turn it in you just gotta ride out of the area, you might get lucky and it will finish out. (Works pretty often in my experience.) BUT THE BENZ Posted March 31, 2019 Share Posted March 31, 2019 ^ I think you need to simply interact with other NPCs to trigger the "end" for some missions. fastest way to be "free" back in free roam. Once I rode all the way to tumbleweed with a pelt I should have dropped at bonnie's ranch, wanted to sell it there since it didn't disappear after the mission ended, well just to be prompted back when I could almost see the butcher. sometimes though you can keep the pelts/carcasses ("on the hunt") and sell them. depends on how your mission ended and who gave you the mission I suppose. last session: something I haven't seen before: my "recovery" mission failed after a minute, when I had just put on clothing for a trip to mount hagen - because my posse abandoned the job......but I was NOT in a posse! BUT THE BENZ Posted May 5, 2019 Share Posted May 5, 2019 ^ha, why indeed? bump! yesterday was just f*ckED. the days before I could make it work (most of the time) but last session was....I don't know 1st mission....well no missions would be even OFFERED 2nd mission....it started, but ended immediately due to my NONEXISTING posse abndoning the job 3rd mission....OH, it worked, and it lasted until I went to the drop zone..then NOTHING happened..and in the end the pelt and timer with the CHECK just diasspeared and I got NOTHING 4th mission.....just to see if I would get pai at all in that session, I did what was offered, SUPPLY WAGON, just to have it blown up by...a super cool member of the beloved HALFWIT PARADE f*ck it then. no missions...hmm. so I did hideouts to rack up some XP. btw I tried that 1 story mission for the challenge. and of course it didn't register. Chunkey_Monkey Posted May 6, 2019 Share Posted May 6, 2019 Hows about this for a bunch of sh*te, Went into the PO St Denis and was told a Delivery, it didn't materialize so heade of towards Rhodes doing some hunting, Sols all at Rhodes butcher then got hideout down on waters edge with the large boat in it. Finished that heade roughly to emerald hunting etc and then turned to Valentine to go sell all pelts and meat. Left valentine went hunting up thru Cumberland forest and yeh another hideout at Bachus bridge, got a treasure map as well so happy as pig in sh*t, headed of to The Loft to pick up a few bits (ammo and gun oil) then down to McCreahs for another stranger, But just before reach the lake i was balck screened for 10 seconds then spawned into the cart delivery mission from St Denis post office WHOA what a heap of sh*t as me on my own now got 3 carts to protect and im sure a soft spawn lobby merge happened as well as soon as i was over the river heading to Braithwaite for delivery i had 2 separate posse attack me at least 9 players all together, Didn't stand a bloody chanceKilled sevearal using explosive but at this rate i would end up depleting my arsenal very quickly so on my next spawn after having been killed i left the lobby totally pissed off and sulking at R* hidden soft spawn and their sh*te strangers not working as intended Red Lynx 23, BUT THE BENZ and lewiz6235 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I didn't do much, but what I did worked, off the bat. Basically they spawn 500+ horses before the Post Office at Valentine, causing the games Networking to crash. No/little Animal and NPC Spawns, Lagging Store Fronts, Stranger Missions not loading. Chunkey_Monkey Posted May 22, 2019 Share Posted May 22, 2019 (edited) They have been working fine for me till last night when all I get is the accept tab in grey no notice of what the mission should be or whether offensive or defensive. Booted up this morning all fine for several Strangers so great till after about 2 hours all greyed again. Chaged lobby 4 times no good shut down completely, no good I have all the required ports forwarded, I clear the cache every time I load game.
