Welcome. This thread contains some info about the sounds in SA. Featuring GENRL, SCRIPT, SPC_[something] etc.
In order to open the file, you need Alci's SAAT GUI FrontEnd. Get it here.

When opening it, you'll see that there's a lot of Bank_[NUMBERHERE] folders. Every one of them is obviously different and contains various sounds.
Note that some sounds are still unknown to me soo.. if you know the ones that I don't know, do tell so I can upload this list!

Hey uhh quick question. Is there anyone that found the sound file for nitro and  sound_ammunation_gun_collision? It doesn't appear to be on the list.

 

I mean

would logically be the sound effect for that but upon testing in game, it seems like it's not the one.

Where is the rollerskate sounds located at? I don't like the goofy rollerskate sounds it just sounds like they scraped a brick on asphalt. I wanna replace it, i've been trying to find it for quite some time now, I checked plenty of sound list and i've never found a single one talking about rollerskate sounds. And it's not even on the FEET sounds.

@aloud066 actually yes, it's in the FEET file, you need to go to Bank_001 and the last .wav sounds should be them

bank_137 - sound_077 and sound_078 are actually silencer shell casings being dropped on the ground, it is unused on the vanilla sounds but some sound mods use the sounds like NeXtGen Weapon Sounds, San Andreas INSANITY Audio Pack

i forgot to say, its not necessarily a shell casing sound, you can use it for many other things like longer silencer sound but it still is used by the silencer. but many people use it as casing sounds but you wont really notice a difference without sound_077 and sound_078

 

just put it as a silencer sound

GENRL - Bank_053 - sound_024 is the sound when changing radio stations

(unrelated but its also the sound used for cars adapted to ImVehFt when changing to bigger headlights/fog lights)

In AUDIO>SFX>SCRIPT on PS2 is the random banks? But the SCRIPT on PS2 is different, ex the bank207 on PC is the bank030 on PS2. did you map it on ps2 too?

hey, how sorry for the inconvenience, I tried to edit the bank_132 sounds 41 - 43 which are the sounds of the door and at first everything was fine, but then I noticed that voices like "squirrels" are heard I looked all over google looking for solutions but I didn't find anything Do you know anything about how I could fix it? From already thank you very much. I don't speak English, sorry if it's misspelled

@Lev1 From what I can see, either you've imported an invalid format of a .wav sound in the game. Make sure it's a .wav 16-bit, mono and below 48khz. Nothing else.

Although, seeing that this is SAMP (or MTA? interesting looking chat font), it could be a possibility that it's just SAMP/MTA bugging out.

 

One more thing, are you importing the custom sounds in Modloader or in GENRL file itself (replacing and such)?

@ArmanCan that's only via script. If you mute their sounds, your guns will be muted as well.
