Saw these two guys trying to lasso eachother so they were dangling off the bridge. https://xboxdvr.com/gamer/pressure-drop/video/67907571 Decided to risk approaching and trying to help them, I rode across the bridge slowly and they didn't shoot me. DrKrankenstein Posted January 23, 2019 Share Posted January 23, 2019 semi friendly encounter lol: was hunting for herons,saw a canoe paddle by,i quickly equiped my bandana, shot the poor sap in the canoe, and started paddling down the bayou, i was trying to get to the river and paddle up there, i heard shots, didn't see anyone on the banks, so continued paddling, next thing i know a full posse was waiting on me to pass near a bank, saw them deliberatly going there to cut my path, as i approached, they started whistling, i whistled back at them, and they waved. so i took my lil canoe up to the bank they were holding up on, was just a lil mud island. two of them jumped in my canoe, and i took em for a ride, we were really close to that river entrance, but as soon as we passed the traintrack bridge near st denis , we got shot at, some fools were standing on the bridge sniping us. my passengers fell in the water, and there seemed to be a strong current, as they floated helpless towards their demise. i whistled. and said my goodbyes. after 5 shots, they finally managed to shoot my in the head, i spawned close on the shore to see they stole my damn canoe. Still mourning my passengers who drowned i grabbed my bolt action, i couldn't let them get away with it. they were far away, paddling for their lives, and thought i couldn't hit em, but thanks to paint it black, i managed to shoot 5 holes.....in the canoe. they were too far out in the open water. i saw em sink. i saw em swim. i saw me, getting the notification i killed both. and with that, i powered down my ps4. BESIDES all the parasites.... bear claw, I go after a 3 star cougar, let it walk, follow it on food - then a blue dot rank 25 guy comes out of nowhere, shoots the thing, I wondered if it was the same cougar, it was, then I just nod and walk away, he comes after me and drops the the thing....I'M like NO it's okay....he insists...I run off again. he followed, this time he had the cougar skinned, and stowed the skin on my horse. I acceped, we shared the take. all good! ah, days like these....and then ther#s your typical weekend for example, always TROUBLESOME...sunday was pretty bad: joined, got shot, went hunting, was gunned down in front of the butcher and so on. but the last 2 days were just....PEACEFUL....and I loved it. especially last night when for almost an hour I was in a lobby with just ONE more guy....brianscott1970 or something...best session in a long time! Making the rounds at the Doctor's Office to sell some herbs, gun store to get guns cleaned, then went to the barber in the Saloon to change hairstyles for a daily challenge...walking over a lot of dead lawmen on the floor. Then finally where I recorded this, the butcher stand and getting some stew to refill my cores. Foxwolfe Posted April 19, 2019 Share Posted April 19, 2019 I've been enjoying that I haven't ran into too many hostile players lately, but you still always get those random guys running up on you in camp and continuously shoving their gun in your face even though you've got the white flag up. Actually the other day I had an encounter that could have gone very poorly but I would consider it friendly given the circumstance. I was on my horse blasting into saint denis at a high speed given that I could hear gunfire from multiple different areas in the city. As I rounded the corner leaving the butcher and heading towards the gunsmith I failed to notice the dot (coulda been red or blue I can't recall) coming from the opposite direction and I proceeded to run my horse right into him. Now I dunno if it was the angle or maybe he had a heartier breed but luckily I was the only one thrown off their horse and the dude just kept on riding away. If we both fell or if the other guy was the only one to fall I fully assume shots would have been fired, but I was not looking to fight at the moment so I was just glad I could hop on my horse and continue on without incident lol. I run in to investigate to see a bunch of wolves attacking this invincible NPC. Little did I know but that NPC was involved in a Stranger Mission and a poor rank 17 who started it showed up. I decided to let him fight the wolves since there was a daily for wolf kills at the time. He got mauled despite trying to save him. We just stayed there doing nothing with this guy next to us, throwing dynamite to the aligators on the swamp and sh*t. After a while we are on the ground and he tackles me (probably by mistake) and we start a friendly brawl, we feud and fistfight for a bit, cant remember who won or whatever but when i stopped he did the same. He sent a FR and we played a couple of times together later. He stopped playing RDO months ago but hes the first friend i ever made online, sh*t was good fun while it lasted. Saw him dragging anothe player with lasso, when he died, he came over to me, I was ready with my gun, but he did not take out his lasso, instead started shadowing me everywhere. Awkward. Had to join Gun Rush for dailies to get rid of him.
