Lennart -
GTA VCS Special Vehicle Guide This topic is under construction, please be patient! THIS TOPIC WAS CREATED WITH THE MEMBER @Mădălinn Acronym Legend: BP = Bulletproof: This vehicle will not take any damage from bullets. The tires are not affected by this property.FP = Fireproof: Driving through fire will not ignite the car. EP = Explosionproof: Explosions don't affect this car; it won't move, nor will it take damage.DP = Damageproof: This vehicle is immune to collisions of any force. It won't dent, nor will it explode. DP also includes "Meleeproof". AP = Allproof: This vehicle is BP, FP, EP & DP at once.UC = Unique Color (1): The vehicle's primary color is special and can't be found on it according to the carcols.dat.UC2 = Unique Color 2: The vehicle's secondary color is special and can't be found on it according to the carcols.dat.Unique = Unique Model: This term refers to the vehicle's model and depends on whether the vehicle can be found in traffic or not.NE = No Extra: The vehicle has no "Extra", it's missing certain components. A good example for this is the lightless Taxi. H = Heavy: This vehicle has a higher mass than its ordinary counterpart. PP = Popproof: This vehicle's tires will never get popped. TM x.x = Traction multiplier x.x: This vehicle's traction multiplier is not 1.0. It will handle better if the traction multiplier is larger than 1.0 and worse if it's smaller than 1.0. This property doesn't seem to work for the player on cars. Other names for TM are IH, SH or UH. TP = Tipproof: The vehicle can be put upside down and it will not catch fire if the player isn't inside. S = Strong: The vehicle can take a higher amount of damage before blowing up. Other names for Strong are TD, DD or QD. Special Vehicles list: Chapter I: Vice City Mainland Spoiler UC/UC2 Streetfighter Spoiler Mission: Conduct Unbecoming Method 1: Pass the mission and always have the Streetfighter near you until you are told to go back to the military base. Park the Streetighter a little further away and enter the final marker on foot. Then, after Vic has been expelled from the army, take and save the bike in your safehouse garage. Video by Vanhela Credit: GTA_Loco FP/UC/UC2 Walton Spoiler Mission: Cleaning House Method 1: Get an om0 rampage and start Cleaning House. Skip the cutscenes and when the rampage fails, restart Cleaning House. Head for Phil's place, enter the marker, pray for the Waltons not to flip, take the one which Phil is inside to the future safehouse and kill all the Cholos. After the cutscene has played, take the Walton to the final marker but watch out to enter the marker on foot as otherwise, the Walton will be deleted. After the fade has happened and Victor is wearing his normal clothes, drive the Walton to your safehouse and store it inside its garage. You can also obtain the UC/UC2 Streetfighter along the Walton by double driving them out of the army base and not getting exterminated by the soldiers there. Video by Vanhela Credit: Lennart - PP Cholo Sabre Spoiler Mission: Cholo Victory Method 1: Requirements: - Flamethrower Start the mission, drive to the destination and as soon as the Cholo Sabre appears, force the driver out using the flamethrower. Kill the driver and double drive the Cholo Sabre and the Walton to the ditching point at the docks. Drive the Sabre into the water, enter the Walton, store the Cholo Sabre, pass the mission and open the garage door so the Cholo Sabre is actually saved. Video by Vanhela Method 2: Approach the Cholo Sabre, steal a random car and follow the Cholo Sabre until the mission fails. Then take it by force and park it in your garage. Video by Jam8tone Credit: Pass method: Lennart - Fail method: TheGlitcher123100 FP/UC/UC2 Walton Spoiler Mission: Cholo Victory Method 1: Just pass the mission and store the Walton inside your garage. Credit: GTA_Loco UC/UC2/PP Perennial Spoiler Mission: Truck Stop Method 1: Just pass the mission and park the Perennial inside your garage. Video by Vanhela Credit: GTA_Loco BP/PP/TM 1.1 Barracks OL Spoiler Mission: Truck Stop Method 1: Requirements: - Flamethrower Do the mission like normal until you are told to stop the Barracks OL. Then use the flamethrower to scare the driver out of the truck, take the truck, kill Phil and store it in your garage. Video by Vanhela Credit: Unknown H/PP/TM 1.1 Barracks OL Spoiler Mission: Truck Stoop Method 1: Requirements: - Flamethrower Do the mission like normal until you get to the part where Phil needs to make a turn onto the road connecting the police station with Stonewall J's. If you get to this point, accelerate and get in front of Phil. When he gets to the next turn, use the Flamethrower to force him out of the Barracks OL and take it for yourself. The mission will fail automatically if you drive too far away. Video by Vanhela Credit: Unknown PP Admiral Spoiler Mission: Truck Stop Method 1: Requirements: - Flamethrower/Molotov Get to the point where you're escorting Phil and look out for an Admiral that is attacking. You have to get the Admiral by scaring out the driver using fire and then either driving away, waiting for the mission to fail or passing the mission with it. Video by Jam8tone Credit: Gabyboskingofspeed/Rational Psycho FP/UC/UC2 Bobcat Spoiler Mission: Shakedown Method 1: Start the mission and ditch the Bobcat inside the ocean. Then store it inside your garage. Video by Vanhela Credit: GTA_Loco EP Conversion (four doors vehicles only) Spoiler Mission: Got Protection? Method 1: Start the mission and get into your four door vehicle. Ditch it in the ocean and after the mission failed, get it out again. Bare in mind that you don't have to fail the mission once per vehicle. If you enter a vehicle and leave it while it's destroyed (submerged in water), the car will stay EP. After the cutscene, jump off, get in the vehicle you left before and once the game tells you to help lance, drive near him, then drive to the hideout and activate leap and bound again, once the speeder is about to pass under the bridge which connects starfish island and little havana. Also, do not skip the cutscene, otherwise, you might get stuck in a loading loop. If the game didn't froze, skip the cutscene. Once you regain control over Vic, go to the place where the boat is. If you activated leap and bound at the right time, the boat will drive in circle around the bridge which connects viceport and washington beach. Now try to jump on the boat. Once the shark gang member leaves the boat, take control over it, let it parked somewhere safe and pass the left storyline missions to unlock the vice city beach and prawn island. Now let the boat near the beaching point near clymenus suite, go get an ambulance, go back in the boat and beach it. Now, using the ambulance, carefully push the speeder2 to clymenus suite, store it in your garage and it's yours Video by M E Z Credit: Lennart -(Method) darkdraggy (First obtained by) Nick007j & Nothing can kill the mission at that point and even if there would be one, the hunter would be unstorable, because it's too big for all 3 garages Chapter VI: Additional Tips, Tricks & Information Spoiler OM0 Spoiler Get a police vehicle, go to a place where a rampage is, activate vigilante, stand on the spot the rampage is supposed to be and cancel vigilante. The rampage will start, but the icons will be visible on the map. Padlock Spoiler With the help of the padlocks, several special vehicles are now obtainable, because they allows you to regain movements and/ or teleport away. To get a padlock, get a police car, drive to the place where the padlock is located and activate vigilante. Leave the vcpd vehicle, cancel vigilante and walk in the place where the padlock is supposed to be. If done right, the padlock menu will appear, but you're gonna regain movements as soon as vigilante fails. There are two ways to control a padlock, depending how you picked it up: 1-if you picked up the padlock without holding X, you'll not be able to use the double lock feature. This means, as long as you need to use triangle or circle, you must hold X as well, all the time. Releasing it will cause the vehicle to be bought. 2-if you picked up the padlock while holding X, you'be able to use the double lock feature. To use this feature, keep holding X all the time. If you need to use circle or triangle, you must do like this: keep holding X along with the " fordbidden "key, then release X, while holding the key. To get back in the double lock feature, hold X along with the " fordbidden " key and release the key you needed before, while still holding X. You can do this infinite times, except in case you need to skip cinematic cutscenes. In this case, you can do this trick only once Garages Spoiler There are 3 garages in gta vcs: 1-101 bayshore avenue: here, storing 3 cars and a bike/ quad/ caddy/ domestobot is safe. Storing 4 cars is very tricky 2-the compound: 2 cars and 2 bikes/ quads / or one caddy/domestobot along with another bike/ quad is the best garage design you can have 3-clymenus suite: here, you can store everything you want, except a hunter. There are few best garages design for this one: two speeders and two cars, 2 barracks trucks a heli and a small car, a squalo/ yola/ coast guard/ jetmax along qith 3 medium dimension cars and so on Once you chose your garage design, try first the design with normal vehicles, then special ones PSP Garage Glitch Spoiler Under normal circumstances, vehicles are loaded only if the player stands next to the garage door. In vcs, PSP platform only, due to a glitch, the vehicles are loaded if one of these activities are performed near a garage: pass/ fail/ activate / cancel a mission, buying a vehicle, or leaving an interior. If one of these activities can't be avoided, open and close the closest garage. In this way, vehicles are stored back Another glitch caused by this glitch is the little willie padlock on clymenus suite roof. If you go on the roof through interior safehouse and buy the heli, chances to lose your vehicles are very high, because you performed 2 of the mentioned activiries near a garage. If you land a heli on the roof and buy the little willie, you'll end up with an endless loading screen. If you really need this helicopter, get one from junkyard -Note1: the empire building near clymenus suite is a bit tricky to take over if you have vehicles stored inside this garage. To keep your vehicles safe, open and close the garage once enemies gangs spawn. Open and close the garage again once you passed the attack, then buy the empire, choose the desired business and dimension and open and close the garage door once more. Taking over and leaving the rest 28 empires is safe, only this one loads the vehicles, because it's very close to a safehouse garage -Note2: passing leap and bound causes the vehicles stored inside 101 bayshore avenue to be loaded. Make sure to open and close this garage right after passing the mission Color Palette Spoiler When it comes to colors, vcs has the most unique system. First of all, no color is named. Unlike previous gta games carcols file, where you can find the rgb, color number and color name, in carcols file of gta vcs you'll find only the rgb and the color number. For this reason, you will see no name color after the UC and/ or UC2 abbreviation, unlike the other guides. Another interesting thing is that all colors are used. You might tend that gta games has only 100 colors - 101 if you include black - ( 126 in sa - 127, if you include black - ). Only carcols uses 101/ 127 colors, the color palette has 256 colors. The thing is, everything above 100 ( 126 in sa ) is left blank and it appears just like black in-game. In gta vcs, all 256 colors represents a color: a kind of green, a kind of red, a kind of black and so on. Even some special vehicles possess color/ s above 100. If you wanna know which are those vehicles, a note will be added at the end of the explanation of the special vehicle Another vcs exclusive thing is the different rgb's between platforms: on PSP, the white ( 1 ) color has the rgb 188, 188, 180, while, on PS2, it is 202, 202, 202. There are more colors in this situation, but I will give only this one as an example Carcols black and no carcols entry/ black cheat black: in previous gta games, everything without a carcols entry, as well as anything generated via black traffic cheat has the rgb of the black color identical to the rgb of the original black color. In vcs, this doesn't apply. The original black has the rgb 15,15,15, meanwhile, everything without a carcols entry ( barracks ol, rhino tank, vcpd wintergreen, freeway and faggio ) and everything generated via the black traffic cheat has the rgb 5,5,5. That said, the vehicles in the brackets can be UC UC2 if mendez goons steal them during the mission " in the air tonight " and they will look less black than the original vehicle. Black barracks ol: on PSP, the barracks ol doesn't have a livery, thus appearing with its original color combination. As said above, it can be UC UC2 and with the new special color, it's gonna look less black And with this, I decided to end the color palette section: 0,0,0, a disfunctional RGB. 0,0,0 is the most black you can get in-game. This is a color above 100 and it represents a kind of black. The only vehicle which possess this color is the fbi washington which chases you during a 5* starts wanted level. Actually, it will be white, but few seconds after running away with it, it will turn black. Unfortunately, it's gonna turn back to white after respraying any vehicle or once you save and reload. Also, no matter if it's white or black, the rgb is 0,0,0. You're gonna get the same result if you use external devices to set the rgbs of the color/s to 0,0,0 of any vehicle Changing Islands early Spoiler This video shows you how to cross islands in every gta game. VCS part starts at 28:32 and it ends at 33:48 Empire Tricks Spoiler Once you progressively take over empires, random attacks increases and your businesses gets attacked constantly. To prevent this, save the game, turn off your console/ close your emulator, then, start it again and load the save you play on. Random attacks over you or your business will stop until you take over another empire/s. Keep it like that until all 30 empires belongs to you. Also, you should know that having all 30 empires set to robbery, high roller, gives you the best pay day: 126000 $ Note: make sure to build at least once a high roller of each business, otherwise, you'll not be able to reach 100 completion Upside Down Glitch Spoiler ( PSP only )Any car left in memory ( no matter if it belongs to the player or to a mission ) will be found out upside down ( and blown up, unless it's TP ) once the player cross to the other island and came back, fall in the blue hell or after the player left interiors located underneath the map ( these being the north point mall, hyman memorial stadium and the mendez mansion ). Helicopters are affected differently by this glitch: they spawn underneath the map and vanish, unless they belong to a mission. Note that this glitch can be avoided ( only in crossing the island case ) if the car is in range after you came back. For example, if you let a car at the edge of washington beach bridge, go to mainland and came back by crossing the viceport-washington beach bridge, the car will not be upside down. Despite being a worse glitch, it has its good parts. For example, by using this glitch, you can easily obtain the race cars, since they're TP and the pushing process is gonna be less time consuming. This glitch also helps for domestobot ( PSP method ) in this way: mark an air ambulance using a padlock from the opposite island. You will spawn underneath the map inside the helicopter. All you have to do is to fly to prawn island and land the air ambulance on top of the interior Edited February 9, 2019 by Lennart - Paisan™ and Vice City criminal

Lennart -
Hello and welcome to the GTA VCS Special vehicle guide on GTA Forums. I am happy to provide a guide for you that will help you obtain all special vehicles in GTA VCS. While writing a few explanations down, I got some ideas on what to do in order to get certain cars. My finds on the EP Conversion. This might have already been found before, but it is possible to convert as many vehicles as you like in one run. Example: The Oceanic is bound to the mission so if you want to convert it, you'd have to fail the mission, but also, if you aim to fail the mission anyways, you can get it easily while converting other vehicles as it won't disappear. This got me thinking, do marked vehicles survive mission being passed? And yes, apparently they do. I suppose this Ambulance was marked and when I threw it into the water, it was made EP. After passing Got Protection?, it remained. So technically, you can obtain 12 EP vehicles per save and without failing Got Protection? once. Maybe someone can confirm my findings on other versions of the game so we know for certain if this is true? Anyway, are you sure the bounded car was an oceanic? I know, the hookers hide behind a car, but when I passed the mission in the actual save I play on, I decided to steal the " oceanic " in order to put it in a garage for the impound garage, unlocked after " the audition ". Turns out the car was a glendale. In this case, I have two questions: 1-is this car randomly generated? I mean, sometimes it's a glendale, sometimes an oceanic? 2-if no, which is the oceanic you talk about? Lennart -
Lennart -
The Oceanic is scripted to spawn here during the mission. Maybe you mistook it for a Glendale because it's fully grey The car that is parked next to the prostitute at Singe d'arbre is a real Glendale though. There is nothing special about these cars other than this mission to be your first chance on delivering an Oceanic to the impound without needing to use a padlock or push the car through the water. Mădălinn
I ran some tests with the FP UC UC2 Walton from boomshine blowout. This one is UH 0.5 at a point of the mission. I got it either without the property or frozen in position. I got an idea, but knowing how vcs handles om0, chances to work are very low: it implies marking a vehicle with a side mission ( taxi, police, ambulance or firetruck ) and letting it parked near phil warehouse. Get om0 and a padlock, pass the mission, release the padlock during cutscene and activate the side mission of the marked vehicle. If the game doesn't crash, success might be on our side UPDATE: the walton with TM 0.5 property is unobtainable, because the mission cannot be killed. Game crashes at the point the walton is UH 0.5 so, another unobtainable special vehicle in vcs Edited March 16, 2019 by Mădălinn
Mădălinn
Hello everyone who watches the vcs guide! I don't see so much activity here, so I'm gonna reveal something useful: PSP players can transport vehicles to mainland before from zero to hero, with padlock, without triggering the upside down glitch by this: get the padlock, go to the other island, get the vehicle you want and go on the viceport-washington beach bridge. If you get close enough the barrier, the loading screen will occur, thus loading the mainland and allowing you to transport the vehicle without tipping it If you want NE vehicles, such NE gang rancher or NE burrito, this is risky, cause you need to spawn it first, let it on the bridge mentioned above, go back, get a padlock, glitch to the eastland and finally transport the vehicle as mentioned above. The reason this is risky is because the NE vehicle has a chance to disappear. For some reason, sometimes, your vehicle vanishes without any explicable reason so, even if transporting by boat is more time consuming, I recommend this
TheGlitcher123100
I don't if this was a rare glitch but upon obtaining the Domestobot it became a NE Domestobot again I'm not sure how it happened but it did if there is a method to get one I'm all ears

So no NE domestobot with in-game available stuff
GTAFanLuca
Hello! I am playing the PSP version of the game on PPSSPP, and I couldn't help but notice that some vehicles that are supposed to be FP just aren't FP. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I obtained the FP Perennial from "Robbing the Cradle" and the FP/PP Perennial from "Truck Stop". The Perennial is indeed PP, but not FP. The other Perennial is even more useless, considering that FP was basically its only special property, and it is absent.
