The vehicle doors in the 3D era are just a hologram that the protagonist can walk through.

Michael, Franklin and Trevor are incapable of ledge grabbing while jumping from a building to another building, they don't even try, they just start screaming when they assume they can't do anything even though they could

Claude and CJ can't roll when falling from low heights while Tommy can even roll when falling from a very tall building

don't forget falling head forst from a 20ft drop cause you know it makes more sense that way and their more likely to survive rather than landing on their feet like normal human beings. I mean come on who wants to be normal?! Certainly not them

Murder 1-2 people: Fine.

Murder 6 random people: 1 star wanted level. Cops will chase you if they happen to be passing by.

Murder 1 cop: Instant 2 star wanted level. Cops are sent out to kill you.

Despite the fact that most of cars have seatbelts, nobody uses them. Same applies to pedals and gearbox. Is this like you accelerate, brake and shift gears (if a car is potentially meant to have a manual transmission) with the power of your mind?

Speaking of shifting gears, your car can have an automatic transmission, yet it still may have a clutch.

All events happen at the convenience of the player character.

The year (and season) is the same, no matter how many days pass.

In-game 1 minute is 1 second (or 2-3 seconds for some) in real life.

Protagonists can run like normal even when their health is very low. They never walk or run like dying peds in GTA IV or Max Payne in the first game.

-Basically every mission that has a wanted level.

*Police chatter* Suspect has killed countless people and destroyed multiple vehicles

Mission passed

*Police chatter* Looks like we're done boys. Who wants coffee and donuts?

-in Vice City if you have a 2 star wanted level you can lose your wanted level by changing into a fresh set of clothes even if those clothes are the same as what you're wearing and the cops assumingly are aware of that.

-In the HD era if you're hanging out with a friend and steal a car you have to break the window to get in, but they can open their door like it was already unlocked.

-Vehicles in any GTA game don't require to be refuelled like ever. Even in GTA V if you shoot out the fuel tank so it leaks it'll just keep going.

-In GTA IV if you have a car that's broken down just call the cops and it'll start up again.

If you flee the scene of an accident, run a red light, or go over the imaginary speed limit, the cops literally don’t care unless you hit one of their cars in the process.

You can always get out of a hospital within less than a whole day after “dying”.

You can kill Niko Bellic and Patrick McReary in that mission in TBOGT where you save Gracie from them and it actually won’t fail the mission. The thing that’s REALLY strange about that is how you play it from Niko’s perspective in IV and if he or Packie dies there, the mission fails.

I think it can run out eventually if the fuel tank is leaking. One time when I did the mission where you steal the van with the gas grenades in it I somehow ended up leaking fuel and I was messing around driving it through the underground tunnels and it ran out (and I could see that the line of fuel stopped coming out right before it stopped). Just took a while. I don't know if it's just me but I find that the leaking fuel thing virtually never happens though so chances to test this have been few and far between.

And you can actually call anyone lol! Pretty handy glitch

GTA V cars do stop after you shoot the tank but it takes an unrealistic amount of time. You can drive around half of the map before it does.

I've always used the cops lol. Still either way it's definitely handy even though it's completely bonkers from a logic standpoint.😛

Speaking of glitches in GTA IV swingsets can make you go flying across inhuman distances cause....reasons.

I call Brucie because he's the first in the phone that you can call without arranging anything. When I'm in a hurry I call Alex and end up setting up unwanted dates with her

Come to think of it I could pretend Brucie's giving me some mechanic's tips when I call him to improve the logic 😛

lol.

I might try this. Maybe he channels the bullshark testosterone from Chile for mechanical tips.😛

-Niko Bellic's clothes get clean of blood after eating. Guess that's one way of laundry in Rockstar's world.

A car instantly sets on fire and blows up when it tips over.

I f*cking hate this sh*t in Vice City. Terrified of water and always flipping the cars.

When i buy a property then i become the owner, though it feels the opposite in game. I know we have to play an active role in doing jobs, but this can be achieved without making me feel like i am not the owner, but taking orders from someone whom i don't know, have no control or say in running the business operations, like hiring process, planning missions, etc.

Not sure how can this be logically described as being the "owner" of the business

It's funny because it's the opposite of the stereotype that Americans can only drive automatics unlike their Australian and European counterparts.

And "stick shift". No it's called a manual you dumb Florida moron.

lol Fosters isn't even Australian yah hillbilly.

In all seriousness though I think it would be cool if vehicles had the correct transmission like the real things they're based on.

WELL THEY SELL IT AT THE OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE DOWN BY THE AIRPORT SO IT MUST BE AUSTRALIAN

Idk like thatd be funny like "I gotta make a quick getaway heres a car / oh sh*t why are there three pedals" but if they're gonna do it, they need to do it right. Speaking of, here's another example of GTA Logic - why does a semi truck, which usually has 10+ gears, have only five in GTA?

If you're in front of a gangster and aim your weapon at him while he's on foot he always feels threatened but if you aim at a gangster who's driving a car just in front of him he just doesn't care.

True with San Andreas but in GTA IV and V drivers will also react to pointed guns.
