Error 0x20010006 Is anyone else still dealing with it?

ERROR 0X20010006 IS STILL KICKING PLAYERS OUT OF THE SERVERS! ROCKSTAR WILL NOT PRIORITIZE IT UNTIL US FANS BRING IT TO THEIR ATTENTION!

The last 2 days i could hardly play. i got disconnected before i was even connected. and once actually i joined i got disconnected every couple of minutes. it  get worse by the day for me.

I've not been able to play for nearly 3 days because of this error

I play loads of P2P games and never have issues unless someone else comes into our lobbies with a poor connection but we usually boot them out, Never had connection issues like this game ever

From time to time I did. But that’s usually few hours between or not at all. My game has actually crashed 2-3x though.

Can't believe there is so little interest in this topic. I am having same error issues from the start and it never went away. I upgraded my Internet speed, changed the cables and router to more advanced one according to Cox people  and I cleaned my PS4 and reinstalledtye game. Nothing works, few minutes in and I am kicked out. I pretty much gave up on the game since I am not seeing Rockstar acknowledging issue at all or offering solution.

open all ports and clean the cache on your PS4 ive not had one of those disconnects now since weekend after new year

I did everything,  trust me. It just doesn't work. Clearing cache and opening ports was my first try, but it didn't work. Then I got better Internet plan, faster router and cables and still nothing.  I did try to reinstall game as well, so far no luck.

This has persisted with me and is so frustrating, I get failures to connect so many times, it's unreal. I've tried all of their official fixes but I don't get disconnects with any other online games. 

 

I find it a little annoying they keep releasing new game modes whilst this massive issue is seemingly not addressed at all.

Ya was playing first was crash last night, gave up then this morn'n crash again. Just was playing now and got this error too after an hour damn every time I play it something goes wrong.

after last big update, every 15 minutes, then it stays stable for 2 hours, and just as you get immersed in the game: hello 0x2001006

Same here.  High speed wired connection, my modem and ports aren't the issue.  It happened every once in a while durrin BETA but now it has been worse, at least one a session.

Happened twice yesterday. Not on very hairy moments, though, so I was rather okay'ish with it. I'm expecting it to happen randomly. It can't be my connection, because any other internet connection running at home has no dip or disconnects. It's always the Rockstar services at fault.

How many still have same issue?  

 

I have moved from Nevada to Virginia just week ago. New Internet provider,  new modem and almost 2x speed I used to have and game still doesn't work! Every 5 min or so I am being kicked out. Rockstar couldn't help me, my Internet is not the issue. Only things left to change are my PS4 or new copy of the game. So frustrating.

Finally!

 

I am able to play without being kicked at all. After all these months,  can't believe it but it works and it was out of desperation.  I simply got fed up with everything and sold my 160 dollar modem/router because it didn't help me with RDR Online. So I tried Netgear and Motorola 150-200 dollar range as well as default equipment from Cox and Comcast  (I moved to Virginia recently ) and it just didn't work. However I wanted to save some money so I returned Netgear Nighthawk modem back and replaced him with cheap Arris Surfboard  (88 dollars) in white because it goes well with my new furniture.  And guess what? It works great with RDR Online.  Not sure why, I am using default settings but for 3 days now no issues at all.

 

I am so happy and too bad I can't give you better advice but try switching different modem/routers  untio it works. For me, one of the cheapest ones did what those 2x as expensive couldn't.  I wish I was aware of Arris products earlier lol

I think I'm f*cking done with this game, think I'll sell it later this month or something cause I can't even enter RDO. I'm not changing my f*cking router, ports or any of that sh*t why should I? I can play everything perfectly except this sh*t.

After over 100 email tickets and at least 20 phone conversations with R* Support I still get disconnected every few minutes, R* blames my DSL speed, I blame their peer to peer Edge server architecture. I just keep creating tickets and ask that all of you do also.

They can't blame EVERYONE's DSL speed. I had no problems until the update when they started refreshing servers every 15-30 minutes. I've been moved from server to server, camp moves or is gone completely, animals disappear, etc. All of the issues arise whenever the server I'm on repopulates or I get moved to a different server.

 

Furthermore, I get a lot of disconnects when I'm in a posse, be it mine or someone else's, yet when I'm on alone I don't get them. I wonder how they can explain that.

 

R* support is outsourced as you can tell by the scripted responses they give. Their solution to everything I've bought up is to shut down PS for 30 secs, then hold L1 & R1 when starting the game. The people at "support" have no idea what they are talking about since they are not real tech people, just people who are handed a page with the responses they are supposed to give.

 To this topic, I had asked one such R* support supervisor in a phone conversation what was the response from the design team when they (support) had meetings with them (design). I was told they never meet not even in video or teleconference call. Support sends a written summary of our issues.

 

What a way to run a company!!!

I am also having issues with disconnects c000005 error vague as hell, just had a chat with tech support on R* after opening a chat ticket - no help what soever just said to verify the game and send him 2 logs - nothing else of much help.

They don't seem to fix this problem when they do updates I got disconnected during a bounty mission it's annoying.

Don't forget R* support is rumored to be a third party company, and in my conversations with some supervisors, they never have meeting with the development team.

Not really played RDR Online much, as I prefer to play solo quests, and didnt find the content that exciting after a while. But now the new roles have come out thought I would have another go, and really enjoying it.

 

 Been logged out 6 times in about 2 hours today with this message, starting to get annoying now.

 

Never had this problem with GTA Online, if they want this to get half as big as GTA I suggest they take it more seriously.

 

Saying its our internet problems when we can play every other online game without any issues just isnt good enough.
