Can anyone confirm if I only get paid for gun rush if I wait till the end?

I died pretty early, do I have to wait the entire match to get paid?

Or will I get paid even after I leave?

I just breifly tested this out with 2 games. 

 

Game 1: 

Last about 2 min, got 0 kills...lol and left the game to free roam as soon as a died and I received:

-$1

-16 xp

 

Game 2: 

Last about 5 min, got 2 kills and left the game to free roam as soon as a died and I received:

-$1

-80 xp

 

So to answer the question, yes you do get paid after you leave the game. The rewards for playing doesn't seem to impressive though I might just not have been doing well enough. I do not think this game mode is one for getting rich, or getting xp. Unless you get all the kills.

It really isn't a good money maker.

I've seen people on Reddit saying they won and received $20(lol)

I just had my first win, such a freakin' epic match. The best showdown of my life, jesus christ!!

 

Me and ONE more play - so epic!

 

I ended up winning because he left after like 4 minutes. I was awarded with $8,86 and a total of 161 xp!!!
