Mrflanky707
Sometimes I’m charged and beat them off while tapping like crazy and other times I’ve barely tapped and beat them off. Is it timing when they attack or button smashing that wins. Also I’ve pistol whipped someone and shot them in the head. Anyone know how these systems actually work. IamCourtney
I think it's based on each person's stamina relative to the other's but I'm not too sure exactly.

The reason you barely tapped and won, was because they had empty stamina. But all of these drain stamina. If you both got good amount of stamina, then it's all about timing and button press. Poggy
What I often find is that after beating them in the floor grapple, after being charged, they just attack me straight afterwards and I die - what am I missing in that no matter how quickly I press attack after winning the grapple they always get me? It often seems that winning a takedown merely delays the inevitable... chef_archie

BearChow
You know that if you switch from tap to hold it's much easier to win a wrestle between two players. Your finger will love you more! Cheers
