What did you name your horse?

I'm currently riding around on "Not Your Horse" with my backup horse "Jon Bon Pony" at the ready.

I also have Horsea and Horspitality in my stables.

Got a Nokota named Dakota, a Turkoman named Pandora, a Kladruber named Righteous Rislav, and a Hungarian Halfbred named Solitude.

 

Dakota is such an apt name for my Nokota, I hated my starter Kentucky Saddler, and even though my black American Standardbred was fine, traveling around the map still felt miserable. Both the Saddler and Stamdardbred were males, so I thought of switching it up by getting a fast mare, and since my character is a native, I couldn’t think of a better choice. I had the gold, I just reached the required level to unlock it, and the rest is history.

 

As for my Turkoman, I named her Pandora because my, uh, pet cat made me wealthy then, though what it gifted me back then is basically a mere fraction of my legitimate current cash. During that time, I simply wanted to spend some money on an expensive horse and try out the Nacogdoches saddle. Easily the best decision I’ve ever made in this game, I simply love this horse so much, and I’ve come to rely on it since health is what truly matters now to me so I can properly deal with bulletsponge enemies while on horseback. My Nokota can’t take many hits, unfortunately, but at least I take it out every once in a while, when I know bullets won’t be flying.

As for the Kladruber, I dunno why I bought him, or even bothered maxing out bonding with him. It looked cool, though, and I’m a nerd for Elder Scrolls, so I decided to name it after a Colovian character from TES VI: Oblivion. The Hungarian is just there because I had a free stall space, and I was given a coupon for a free horse, the most expensive one I could claim was the Hungarian. Named it Solitude, after the capital city of Skyrim.

My 3rd and current horse is a marble sabino criollo named Bubbleguts McGee, named that because I felt like it and it's stuck for this long so *shrugs* I guess I'll let the name stick until I buy a Norfolk Roadster and the ol noggin comes up with another off the wall name like that

It gave me the ides to name my Mustang F150. But there was a problem (Charger would be good one too! Or Escort! I guess car names may often work well!). I was even thinking thought I might rename my shire (Ed) to F250 - if the mustang panned out. So anyway the man at the Saint Denis stable didn't know numbers

 

So I had to make a snap decision there at the livery and named her Rolls, after goldfinger's car. She was a gold only transaction you see. Anyway, long story short, I decided to finally to get away from car names and named her to Pat, for no reason at all.

 

Summary: Pat.

Recently i bought a mustang and named him Harabah just to show off knowing a few words in hebrew.

My main for a while now is named Marika, it's a greek name and also the name of my grandpa's horse. Both have gone to Valhalla years ago, but that's another story. My second before Marika took over was Sodas. Friends joked all the time calling me soda instead of soad, i got used to it and here it is.

I packed up my stable with more horses. I still have Righteous Rislav the Kladruber, Pandora the Turkoman, and Dakota the Nokota.

 

Ever since then, I discarded my free Hungarian, and got a Steel Grey Breton in its place, and began regarding it as Secunda. I also acquired a Norfolk Roadster, tried calling her Madeleine for a while since that’s my favorite dessert, but I then changed it to Baroness Brandy, this is the kind of name you MUST give to a race horse. And, at last, I got a Mustang, named her Makawee, apparently Sioux for Earth Maiden, fitting for its buckskin coat.

 

I still kinda miss my black American Standardbred, but perhaps it’s for the best if he remains a memory. No use in buying him just to keep him stabled forever.

After I named a horse Pat, I liked how its name was twice in the menu. So I got some other pretty horse and named it Show Info. I call her Showy
