I finally got the oppressor

Recommended Posts

slayermp3

After seeing the new years deals, I started grinding playing last team standings, heists, and missions just to get the quick cash. Once I successfully did it, I finally got the oppressor and now it feels so much different than my old ways in gta online.

First, after using the oppressor in the lobby, it is SO much easier to fly around the lobby. I don't have to drive a car on ground for 15 minutes to get to my motorcycle club, but use a continuous boost and flying in the air. I had to get used to the flying physics, but after getting better at it, I was able to go on the ground and get that boost I needed.

What I didn't know which I should have was that in order to get the missiles by research in the bunker. I had a bunker but since I wasn't really playing often, I decided to just keep it the way it is as a non missile instead of investing a lot of time and/or money into it. Also, aiming with a machine gun was harder than I thought. I actually  blew up a car with the machine guns, to realize it took 20 seconds of continuous shooting. Not bad, but at least I get to fly in the air while shooting it for fun.

It wasn't a bad deal because at the time, I got it for 2.5 mil, which wasn't bad at all. I would've tried to read more about it beforehand, but got excited and decided to just get the oppressor anyways (which I don't regret doing).

Anyways, that was what I got from using the oppressor. It's fun, easy to use in a short amount of time, and intimidating to low level players like myself when seeing the bike symbol on the map. I didn't get it for seriousness like shooting players in vehicles, but it looked cool to use and helps a lot in missions that take place far away. There's more to it here but in conclusion, if you want to get the oppressor for fun, I say go for it.

Disclaimer:I know this is a really late post, but after using the oppressor, I thought this would be okay info for any other players that are still new to the game or want to know about Oppressor experience.

oppressor isn't a bad deal at all when compared to the research cars, because once you get the missiles, you're done with that car. if you want a fully upgraded APC, you're gonna have one hell of a hard time researching.

I got my Oppressor Missiles on my second research. MOC Cannons and then Oppressor Missiles.

When I heard the Oppressor can speed up Special Cargo runs, that got me really interested in it.

But then I realized I can't buy an Oppressor because I don't own a Terrorbyte (whatever that is).

And to own a Terrorbyte, it appears that I have to own a Nightclub, which I don't.

Finally, I saw the Oppressor price is listed as somewhere between 2.5m-3.2m.

Total cost for all the stuff is probably closer to 10m than 5m...

That's when I decided I was just fine using my Buzzard helicopter for my Warehouse runs, just like I always have.

New tech is cool, yeah... but F those prices.  LOL

yeah it can be a fun stunt bike once in awhile, but the Thruster still has my heart for dangerously uncovered air transport

I like forcing my Thruster into tight and uncomfortable places, shooting my load and then disappearing

Probably, I normally just Thrust furiously directly at the police while holding eye contact. Then I blast past them and hide myself n even tighter and more uncomfortable places.

Always fun to talk about the Oppressor in the Oppressor thread.  :)
