Any way to get the silver dapple pinto fox trotter before the epilogue?

Hello,

my fav horse in the game is the fox trotter dapple pinto.he looks good and he's fast.Since they patched the saint-denis spot,there's no way to find that horse.I heard that there's a person that challenges other gunsligers to a duel has one but can't find him.So the only way  i believe is , deleting the game, installing it again,going offline,  finding the horse then saving??

A farm in Denis spawns every single horse (a different one every time in one spot) and every single coat.

Well, that's kinda stupid. It was the only way to get the male white arabian. I don't mind a female horse, I just love hearing Arthur call him "boah".

The new horse glitch (lasso rider off horse and ride off then back) only seems to spawn male horses. I got a white Arabian the first time I tried, traded him for a black one though

I'd look for a gray arabian though. Even better stats.

The nice thing about the St Denis "spawn glitch" is that a number of us were able to try out a greater variety of horses.

I never thought RS would patch this, if I did I would have made a few chapter 2 saves with a number select horses.

Having said this I was fortunate enough to create an early chapter 4 save with the Silver Turkoman

I got the dapple pinto and tiger striped horses through the lasso trick and have got every gang horse as well but will the cremello Dutch horse ever spawn ?

Seems like this no longer works. At least not as it did before. Did it 3 times and only got a Shire, a Belgian and a Mustang. Although you don't normally find NPC's riding those, they're pretty sh*tty.

It can spawn any horse, you got unlucky. I've been getting Morgans and Tennessee Walkers a bunch recently,  just bad luck

You sure? Have you tested it? Tried about ten times already. The best thing i got was a brown, crappy Hungarian.

I loaded my save and got a Blanket Apaloosa and a Black Standardbred so guess i'll keep trying and see what happens. Thanks, man.

Welp... After about 47 attempts the best horse i managed to get was the American Standardbred, with Black, Buckskin and Palomino coats. 

 

 

I hate R* so much. (ಥ_____ಥ)

After about 74 attempts the best horse I managed to get was a Hungarian Halfbred with a Peibald Tabiano coat. References suggest this coat is easy to find in the wilds of New Austin, or can be stolen from a rare NPC encounter, but it was the only new horse I found using this strategy. I checked the coats of each horse and all were identified as found in the wild.

 

The only horse that doesn't seem to fit the pattern is your Palomino American Standardbred. My references say that the Palomino Dapple is a chapter 2 stable coat, and I don't think I've seen it in the wild.

I haven't either. However i had Blanket and Leopard Blanket Appaloosa spawning as both wild in the area and owned by the guys chasing me (using the lasso method). Most of the horses i found using this method were Draft Horses.

Those appaloosas fit the pattern of found in the wild. There seem to be a lot of appaloosa spawns near the reservation.

 

I also found quite a few draft horses using the lasso trick, but not more than would be expected from a random selection. I've never seen a herd of draft horses running wild; they're usually attached to wagons. Still, I'm grouping them in with the wild horses commonly ridden by NPCs.  All wild breeds and coats appear to be represented randomly - just an impression, no hard data.
