Serial Roleplay - Tales from Lemoyne Looking for something a little heavier and more involved? In addition to bringing all of our Red Dead Online role-players into one unified server, we also host and support our own Serial Roleplay story titled: Tales from Lemoyne. Premise: The year is 1898, the setting - Lemoyne, USA. As industry and civilized law make their way to the vast frontiers of America, you arrive by steamship to the port of St. Denis to start a new life. What that life is; what your destiny is, remains entirely in your hands. Will you buy a farm and live the honest life of a respected citizen? Or will the temptations of making a fortune through crime be too great? Perhaps the pursuit of justice will instead be your motivator as you traverse across the vast, often lawless wilderness of America. Will you deliver that justice as an Officer of the Law? Or will you instead serve as a loyal soldier of the US Army? What will your destiny be? Capitalizing on our size and interest, we have the unique opportunity to truly make the world in Red Dead Online alive. In doing that, this new SRP world will ultimately explore the functions of Lemoyne's State government and the relationship between elected officials, law enforcement, the army, citizens, regional gangs and the press. My internet is not very good and I can’t connect to large lobbies. I have played for hours in solo lobbies and lobbies with only 3-4 people. But it now when I join in with lobbies of 19-21 people I disconnect within 30 seconds. I would love to join, but I can’t really play with the current state of the game. At this moment in time with the game in Beta, we cannot actually host private sessions. It's highly unlikely Rockstar will ever give us the ability to own private servers, but I'm just making an assumption based on previous titles and updates. There's not a lot I can suggest to improve your ability to connect to large sessions, but it does seem strange that you can't connect. Have you tried posting a topic and asking other players if they're experiencing the same issue? Rockstar sessions are hosted off of their server farm, not a local or player connection. So if you're able to connect to a low player session, you should be able to connect to a session with a higher player count. As you cannot, I would assume it's the low capability of your Internet provider or speed. Where are you from, what platform are you on? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

On Red Dead Online or Discord? This isn't the first time I've heard of players not able to connect to lobbies with more than twenty or so players. As our role-play community hits 400 members we're excited to announce some revamps to our in-house Serial Role-play story. Based in the great State of Lemoyne, players can now take on the role of a Citizen, State Trooper or Gang Member as they explore the functions of state government in Red Dead Online and the relationship between Lemoyne’s governor, law enforcement, citizens, regional gangs and the press. Your place in this story is entirely up to you! New to our SRP is the inclusion of official State Trooper uniforms which have been designed to be unlocked at a low level, fairly cheaply. Does the honorable life of a State Trooper seem a tad bit too rigid or regimental for your liking? Well you're in luck! We've also created an official SRP gang known as the Brawman Crime Syndicate. Members of this gang can enjoy fame and glory as they navigate through its often ruthless and cutthroat hierarchy. Just don't get caught! Or you might end up going through our complex Lemoyne Court System! Looking for something a little more casual? Xbox and PS4 members alike are all welcome to join for casual, random on the spot RP in our General Role-play area. How involved you get is entirely up to you! Check us out! As our role-play community now exceeds 500 members, I am pleased to announce the next major expansion to our Serial Roleplay story: Tales from Lemoyne. Titled SRP V2.01, we’ve designed this update to capitalize on our SRP’s strongest assets, while recognizing our membership’s core RP interests. In addition to providing stronger support for text-based RP on Discord, we've also added a Discord role-play bot for on the spot dice roles via text-based RP. Perhaps the largest addition to our Serial Role-play story is the addition of the Frontier Army: Enlist as a calvary or infantry specialist of the Frontier army as you defend American assets and frontier outposts from hostile threats.
