Need help choosing what vehicles I should buy....

So, I'm the kind of player that instead of collecting motorbikes with rockets, batmobiles or flying tanks, I pretty much just collect stuff that looks good and is fun to drive around... roleplaying maybe? I guess. (For example, most of my garages are filled with choppers, sexy lowriders and overly customized sedans)

Oh well, I've run into a problem;

I don't know what car I should get! I'm for now mostly interested in the top cars for each class, and I was hoping I could get some advice from the more experienced players in this game.

Everyone keeps saying different things, and I don't know where to start!

 

NOTE: I'm requesting a car that both has to look great, and drives formidably.

Super Car : T20 (got it for free from criminal pack, looking for a better looking car now)

If you just want great driving cars just to go driving in, you can't go wrong with a plain old Turismo R. $500,000. It was my first supercar and it's still my most satisfying to drive, and I own almost all of them.

 

Sports car, get a free RH8 and fully upgrade it. The RH8 and the Turismo R both have cool two tone paint schemes possible with secondarys and they look awesome (and both drive awesome) together in a small garage.

 

Motorcycle, buy an Akuma for $11,000, fully upgrade it and enjoy.

 

If you have money, spend it all on the 80's supercars listed above. For sportscars, other than my fully upgraded RH8 and (fleet of) Retro Elegy Customs, I prefer to steal one off the street. Rapid GT convertible is my heart.

The newest meta for bail-killing is a sawblade-equipped ZR380 with the driver's door knocked off anyway.

Drive the ones you like the look of in solo races. It'll give you an idea of how they handle. I've always liked the Osiris, but it's outclassed these days.

It's a pretty average car. It's not top-notch, it's not terrible, and it doesn't have any weird quirks that make the driving experience bad.

 

But the driving experience is also a bit... bland.

 

 

I still keep mine and it makes semi-regular appearances in car meets I attend, but it's not something that I drive often.

I can't speak for all your motoring needs, but...

 

Sports; the Pariah is the most recent go to vehicle, if not the GTO, though that's more on a racing basis. Most people use the Pariah because, quite honestly, they're bad drivers and need the best of the best to be in with a chance; my brother has a knack for GTA racing and can race his $120k Obey 9f and leave $1.420k Pariah owners in his dust. If you're looking for something reasonable and cheap though, I'll look at the two racerars (Jester & Massacro); they're still contenders for the sports class, the Jester is quicker off the mark, but is a little more … spinny, whilst the Massacro has the traction and straight line speed of the two.

 

Super; it's probably all about the Vagner, it has the speed, traction and control. I'd say the Tempesta is a good shout too, cause it grips like a boss, and I like the Italia GTB for it's speed, though it doesn't like curbs very much. The Sultan (upgraded) is also a fairly good all rounder, though lacks the speed. The Osiris is another good all round car, but doesn't have anything special about it. It's a nice buy though.

I much prefer Helicopters over Airplanes, simply because (I find) them easy to control. On that note, I'd urge you to purchase the Savage. It's better than the Buzzard, and unlike the Akula etc, you don't need a Hanger in order to purchase it. It's a little weak on the armour, but has the ability to fire a constant stream of missiles. It makes the Buzzard inferior.

Personally, I still prefer flying the Buzzard over any other helicopter because of its manouverability and versatility (CEO spawn). But I also really like the Swift if you’re a roleplayer and want a civilian heli. Other than that, can’t go wrong with a Hunter if you want a gunship, and if you want to be left alone or drop bombs at unsuspecting players, go with the Akula.

 

Addition: I noticed you said ”cruise around”; the Besra is a fast and nimble one-seated jet but it has no guns, fun to fly though. And my favorite private luxury jet is, of course, the Nimbus but it’s only really fun to use together with friends (they can sip on champagne and browse the web/send dirty e-mails to other players in session while seated in a comfy chair)  

 

Airplanes, I’d say the Lazer. But the Hydras VTOL capabilities can sometimes come in handy. And if you want a more civilian-oriented airplane the Seabreeze is really nice. Seats two and lands on water, plus it’s actually pretty fast and very nimble.

80s supercar: Pegassi Torero/Grotti Turismo Classic

Old car from 1900-1960s: Stirling GT/Stinger Topless

Super bike: Shotaro/Hakuchou Drag (the following are cheaper but still good - any respectable bike garage should have these: Hakuchou/Bati 801/Akuma)

Chopper: Zombie Chopper/Gargoyle (not really a chopper but a classic bike with surprisingly good performance)

4x4: Kamacho, Rebel (I’m not very good at hillclimbers so I rather leave this to others but I like those two trucks - the Rebel is dirt cheap and fun to drive/has good suspension)

Muscle car: Pisswasser Dominator for performance, Impaler for looks (but hold off on Muscle car purchases til after this dripfeed is over, like others have already said there’ll be a few new really nice ones out soon)

Rally car: Flash GT, Sultan RS (classed as a super, but it’s more of a rally car in my opinion), for oldie but goldie go for Omnis (classic quattro) or Tropos Rallye (classic lancia stratos)

Boats: Pegassi Speeder/Dinghy (for CEO spawn), honorable mention: Blazer Aqua (an amphibian quad bike which I think is great fun to have and to use, it’s got pea shooters, worth mentioning but not worth using... anyway it’s basically a Seashark that you can drive up on land and I love being able to spawn it through the Interaction menu)

 

There are SO many other vehicles worth mentioning but I limited myself to two for most of them for the sake of simplicity. I especially like collecting Sports Classics, Muscles, as well as Sports and Supers and in the end it all comes down to your personal preference... some cars might be milliseconds faster than others in a speedtest but what really matters in the end is how you drive it, and if you like what you drive. One huge favorite of mine is the Lynx, though it’s not the fastest and it’s really expensive for its quite mediocre performance but for some reason i just love driving it. You’ve gotten a lot of good advice in the posts above too  Hope any of this helps!
