My character just mirrored real life for me. 

 

Cigars use to be for special occasions, but I quit smoking cigarettes, tried vaping but felt like a d*ckhead, so I ended up being a daily cigar smoker.

In my case, absolutely not. 

 

I was outside a bar vaping between rounds, saw a group of youngsters vaping and had the exact thought "yeah, I look like a c*nt". Ordered a box of Cohibas on the spot and never looked back.

I always used to look down on people that rolled their own smokes, I would just whip one out while they had to roll and feel smug about it. I then bought some rolling tobacco that a friend had brought back from holiday and never looked back. The money I save is insane and I can still feel smug because pre-roll twenty and have them in a cigarette case.

There's so little difference overall, I'd just get whatever horse you like the look of best, if speed is the main attribute you're looking for.

 

I can't find the link, but I remember seeing something on YouTube where there was only something like 20 seconds difference between the slowest and fastest horses traveling from Valentine to Saint Denis, with a top end saddle and most expensive stirrups equipped.

10/10, mainly because R*/T2 choices are more than non-sense, the game getting into the Xbox Game Pass gave me hopes about a newer update, a new influx of players is good, but without any support it will eventually die (once again).

 

I said before, the game have a hell of a potential (not like GTA) and i really doubt R* and T2 will let the second best money grab of their history chance simply slip away from their hands, GTA getting in the next-gen means it will have a support for newer content and updates (it is the biggest money grab of all history), the RDR-O have a potential for new and complex updates, new freeroam events, even events... GTAO (concerning post-launch) have content, RDO don't, it is simple enough.

You know, I don't mean to sound negative but the reason the GTAO servers are sh*t is because a single person can f*ck up/grief the entire Lobby and when you throw a single sh*t at the ground every gets covered. Before we got weaponised vehicles in our garages the GTAO servers were far better. I just fear that eventually RDO will go the same way and the only thing stopping it is the fact that is very difficult to be a dick on a large scale.

Imagine if we got a Hot Air Balloon with bundles of volatile dynamite we could drop. Hovering over Valentine really high up, higher than you can aim straight up, and bombarding the town.

If you go into your "Action" emote menu you will find a "Smoke Cigarette" and "Smoke Cigar" emote. If you press and hold the Emote buttons you can then press RT/L2 to inhale. You can smoke for as long as you hold the buttons. These emotes were added free in an update. If you dont have them you might need to claim them for free from the catalogue.

I dont know how to word this. First off I bought myself a new Horse today, I didn't need one nor did I plan to buy him but I love him already. Secondly, an apology to the people I mocked for owning a Breton. I can now see why people like the look of those stocky little bastards. Thirdly, a more in depth explanation.

I went to the stable today to update my Horses name and saw that Bretons were on sale, I have never actually looked at them for longer than to see the size and laugh as I compared them to my Shire. I scrolled down the coats and one caught my eye, the Seal Brown coat. Genuinely I have never thought a horse coat in this game looked beautiful but that one is amazing. I have wanted a black horse for a long time so this coat was just a bonus.

 

Genuinely, I think hes beautiful. It is also a bonus that the coat perfectly reminds me of one of my dogs. Same glossy black with ginger.

War Wagons are the only thing which makes me really uneasy if they ever add in RDO, a mounted maxim gun, maybe armored horses, 4 or more players making a hell in a session, holy jesus, how many dynamites or explosive bullets to takedown this thing ?

I got the dark dapple gray one and although he's a little too chonky for my taste as a riding horse I like him. Plus he's about the only good horse that can wear that medieval looking shaffron/head piece with the horn on it. Tried putting it on the other horses and they just don't have the neck for it. The only reason I got him was for fun, he looks to me like an old undertaker's cart horse and at first I was going to name him Seth after the crazy guy from Undead Nightmare but I decided against it and named him Epitaph. I had the sorrel dapple chestnut at first, and she was gorgeous. Named her Flipside, I might get her again if we are ever offered more stalls.

I think we will eventually see Armoured Wagons for sale. The people that datamined the beta already found that there is a purchasable Maxim Gun wagon in Online.

It is R* man, never, ever doubt about how they will make things to break the game balance.

 

Also, quick reminder that the FR Events still broken/unbalanced, and i really doubt they will make something to stop dynamite/explosive arrow spammers in Condor Egg, Salvage and Trade Route events in the next update. (i saw yesterday, people fighting in a condor egg event at new austin for like 2-3 minutes, c'mon ... a low level player which doesn't have money also doesn't have chance to compete against LVL 95+ players with use dynamites and explosive arrows). players still complains about non-spawning events or even missions.

 

The game still broken (in some ways), the game isn't a proper and good experience for some players thanks to bugs and hacks, if they introduce something to "change the game" there's a high probability of this mechanic, object, horse, or whatever ... to being broken for some days/week or even until at a next update.

 

So ... this + a armored horse or heavy chain/steel or iron plated armor (similar to the missions or fools gold event), armored war wagon, balloon or any thing this is gives a combat advantage capable of being used to grief, is a possibility enough to being put on the table, also when the moonshine update got out and the GM glitches were around, it was a hell of a time, took more than 3 weeks to those guys to fix.

 

The cherry in the top of the cake ... RDO-PC still a hell of a mess.

 

So i have more than enough reasons to keep myself uneasy about this kind of thing (even if in the other side, this means a possibility of low players to keep up in combat and defending themselves against LVL+90 players/griefers).

Oh, those mouthy bounty targets...yeah keep talkin' while I tie you up, calling my character a 'dirty whore' among other things might not be in your best interest.

So I knock them out (for the extra XP and some satisfaction of kicking them until they're quiet) and look around to see if there's an interesting way to bump them off, I don't care about losing a little money, I do try and keep my honor low.

 

This one was near a little dock with some gunpowder on it...

That missing leg should make sure my horse isn't weighed down too bad on the trip back to Rhodes.

It seems nowadays that the Bearclaw Camp in Tall Trees is spawning consistently (again) Cougars and Grizzly Bears at the same time for like 3 of 4 times ... when i was hunting in the last two days i got attacked when i got into the area to get the Cougar.

 

When i get close or in the X area which is the fence where the cougar spawns, the bear spawns and comes from the area marked in the circle, for a hunter, this is good because a perfect bear pelt gives 9.24 materials + Bear Claw and a perfect Cougar is almost 17 materials at Trader rank 10 and above.

 

The only time which i didn't saw this was when a moonshiner camp was in the area.

A bit of advice for Xbox players, play the game with a headset/earphones on. 

 

To enable either of these on your Xbox One, navigate to [Settings > All settings > Display & sound > Audio output > Headset format] and select either Windows Sonic for Headphones or Dolby Atmos for Headphones.

 

Windows Sonic is free and will work with any headset. It's preloaded on your Console. Dolby Atmos needs to be paid for.

Funny, I thought about headsets last night, I bought one about a month after PC release, used it maybe 5 times.

I used to see people use them occasionally, but haven't seen a single person using one for months.

I cant speak for PC but Windows Sonic is great on Xbox. I am hearing sounds I have never heard before.
