I spawned within the fort walls this one time after completing More Than One Way to Earn a Buck. The doors were indeed locked shut and the soldiers didn't want me there. Had to exit over the wall. No bounty for the soldiers I killed on the way out.

OK, public apologies to anyone I killed last night, except the one guy that shot me first.

I honestly thought they were NPCs. Didn't see any names above riders as I approached and only realized they were players when I couldn't loot the bodies.

It happened 3 times, I haven't figured out how to enable defensive mode yet.

One poor guy initiated Parley right away then left the session.

 

Level 7 and still fumbling with the controls, but it was pretty fun.

Okay, so I'm playing my girl character and I find this bloke in Tall Trees whose horse just keeled over. Hop on bud, I'll give you a ride to MacFarlane's, sure.

On the way he tells me that he payed "a whole nine damn dollars for that horse, dagnabbit" and that he hopes to see Bonnie because he has a thing for women in men's close.

Last night I helped a black fellow home to Lagras after he ate some bad fish, I was paranoid it was an ambush all the way there, but the payout was pretty decent.

I'm pretty much just hopping on to keep my streak alive lately... I might not even bother doing that much but I'm vaguely hoping for maybe a holiday season update in the nearish future and it'd be nice to be racking up the maximum bonus in that case. 

 

It isn't even that I don't want to play exactly, but between fatigue from ongoing technical issues and long working hours irl it's hard to get mentally sunk in for long sessions atm.

Also, the jingle that plays when your at her wagon, there’s a bit that sounds like Shinsuke Nakamura’s theme. Which is cool.

Why do our characters keep having their mouth agape in every cutscene, suggesting they're unable to express anything other than shock and toddler-like amusement?

 

Liiiikee, you can literally have them do more than go ' °o°' whenever an NPC talks to them about anything. Or better yet, they shouldn't have been mutes in the first place.

I'd have gotten off my horse and gunned down the guy, my character likes Bonnie and hates competition lol

I tried to use CodeSwine to get a solo lobby last night, kept getting connection errors, closed it down and it connected fine.

Some folks are saying more animals spawn if there are fewer players in session and wanted to try it out.

Any time I keep thinking about getting a new horse, I remind myself that I went back to riding my Turkoman once I fully bonded with my Kladruber.

 

I’m sorry, Righteous Rislav, but my bonding level with Pandora is a miraculous 5. I don’t think you or any other horse can achieve that.

It's not so much that more animals spawn, but that the fewer players in the lobby the less likely you are to encounter the bug that f*cks up animal/camp spawns.

 

If you want a solo lobby to check it out I would recommend doing a bounty or supply mission, even some of the stranger missions have a decent chance to trigger a solo lobby (my theory is that it puts you into a solo lobby if there is anyone or anything already at the location that your activity was going to take place, like say you pick a bounty and it's gonna have you go to cattail pond, but someone has their camp there so instead of placing things too close/on top of each other it just dumps you into a solo lobby with your activity location now free).

I play my character as a dangerous doofus type so it kinda works out alright in my case, but I agree. There should be a general demeanor we can set to influence little scripted interactions like this.

My male character is the image of Brisco County Jr, and the cinematic of him being introduced to the Bounty Hunting profession was disconcerting with the way he looked like a wide-eyed child.

The graphics still impress me a year on from release. Anyone else? I enjoy this game loads more that GTAO.

GTAO, still gets some play (invite sessions and contact missions).

But, it's age is showing and it is LOUD. Spawn into my, casino penthouse and it is shaking from explosions... SMH.

 

They need a "throw back" lobby. No weaponized vehicles or try hard f*ckery.

 

RDO is wonderful - for now.

It’s just difficult to go back and play GTA after having been fully immersed in RDR2 for the last year. Like you said the game is showing it’s age now.

 

That is the main difference for me between the two for me. I feel like a part of the world in RDR2. I just don’t get that feeling in GTA.
