Do new clothes get added at the same time as the weekly reset? Because I'm not noticing anything new in catalogue or shops.

It‘s too early. It takes another 2 1/2 or 3 1/2 hours.

Yes, the times have changed this week because the clocks recently went back an hour here in the UK. 

So times for UK now:

 

Daily reset is 6am GMT

Weekly reset is 9am GMT

Collectables reset at midnight.

The first time, I fed him. 

The second time, I fed him again and he wandered off muttering something like he knows where to come to get food and intimated he would keep coming back. So I shot him. And he still comes back! And he still gets shot on sight every time he does.

So I ended up in a solo lobby, not sure how. It was heaven. Camp pitched straight away, Cripps left it the f*ck alone and even moved it successfully each time I asked. Plenty of animals of all varieties spawning, not quite at the unrealistic spawn rate of story mode, but enough to keep my camp stocked with materials. Best of all, no disconnects, not one in four hours. 

 

As great as these last few hours have been for my sanity and my cash/gold balance, the world feels empty when you don't run into other players. I wish Rockstar could fix this beautiful mess of a game.

So.. I was out collecting earlier and noticed a grey flashing dot on the mini map, so headed towards it. Found one of these homeless sitting at another player's camp. So I blew his head off with a shotgun, left his body cooking on the campfire and ran away. 

Was that bad? 

 

 

If you don't have sound or can't hear, he says "I'm looking.. looking for them that owns the fire". 

I wonder if the player came back to their camp and saw it, but it probably despawned. 

 

ETA: I just noticed there are 2 Cripps at this camp. I'm not surprised the player wasn't there, listening to one is bad enough..

A new weird bug where horses hair disappear make it more or less look like a hippo from behind.

 

 

 

Also enountered this bug. Some player seemed to be stuck with his horse in the ground.

Saw another homeless in someone's camp while out collecting and couldn't help myself.

Saw a clip on my Xbox feed today where a player delivered a bounty and respawned spinning like a helicopter underneath their horse after.

Enh, it'd be griefing if the player was standing there talking to him but for all you know they're down in St. Denis and might never even know the guy was at their camp.

Anywho, I'm having trouble maintaining morale lately. I want to play but between the various spawn issues (camp, animals, missions) and the fact that I've been getting disconnected a lot more frequently, I just end up walking away. I sit there thinking about reloading, having to start a mission and hoping it puts me in a solo session so I can spawn my camp, hoping the rest of the world decides to act right once that's done, and all the while having the threat of another random d/c spoiling it... my money's right and I have no particular goal beyond maybe rebuilding and maintaining my streak so it seems easier to just walk away when all these individually mild annoyances pile up...

If you’re feeling comfortable with what you have right now, then yes, it would be wise to take a break from the game until Rockstar fixes the issue by the next update.

 

Once I get what I need, I’ll do just that as well.

People ask me to posse with them in several lobbies, but I have no idea who they are or what they want to do.

 

I also don't use a headset/mic in these games, nor do I want to hear other players say stuff.

 

I think on a posse invite, it should say what they are inviting you FOR; Like if it said "doing delivery, you'll get $300 if it succeeds... " I'd probably do it.

 

In spite of all of the troubles in online, I've not logged into World of Warcraft again since Frontier Pursuits dropped So there is always that...

I ran into something similar, also during Halloween week.

 

 

And we're not the only ones either.

 

 

 

 

Must be something Halloween related considering this apparently only started happening after the Halloween masks were made available last Tuesday. I'm really hoping that Rockstar is teasing us with a possible Undead Nightmare 2 or that there could be a new easter egg that was implemented that's still to be found.

 

Maybe we'll find out after November 5th. It only makes sense that they'd want PC players to be in it too.

Same here. I play at least 6 hours a day and I havent seen it once. 

I wonder if you have to have played the Halloween event first (I haven't tried it), does it appear in that?

Nope, this was not the case for me. I hadn‘t played Fear in the Dark the whole day when I‘ve encountered the green mist.

I was in a solo session this morning, which eventually merged into a ‘populated’ one when I strayed too far from camp. Luckily, this session had only two players, one a low level and the other a high level, and the latter left just before I went to make a distant sale. 
 

I’m not even sure if the low level is AFK or something, he gained a single level so far, but I think about thanking him since we’re both minding our business and I do not have to worry about getting merged into a populated session that has 20-something players since I’m already in one lol.

I remember there once was a glitch in gtaonline which allowed you to bring the weather from Heaven and Hell into Freeroam. Maybe it‘s just a similar bug like that.

 

however in GTAO the weather was only altered for the person who performed glitch, but the green mist was seen by everyone of my 6 posse members.

I'm not expecting anything new, maybe a Showdown at most. I wouldn't be surprised to see some nice widespread bonuses and discounts to draw newcomers in though.

In GTAO do PC players get the same bonuses and discounts every week as console players? If so, maybe there will be something for console players but I'm more hopeful than expectant.

Yes, everyone gets the same bonuses each week and seeing as people cant transfer their characters they will need something to draw players into Online.
