Griefers will grief, but you won't lose any goods, just the time it takes to get out of there.

Didn't know about the 10x reset limit. But then, by the time the 9th reset rolls around, I'll be either bored to tears or ranked somwhere sensible.

I pick herbs while hunting, come across tons of them. If only we could upgrade our satchel and carry more than 10 of each!

Ok so, someone convinced me to join the match play tonight and maybe I was wrong

As much as I hate to admit when I'm wrong

...I was actually very wrong, and I did have fun playing. Guess I had forgotten how much fun that game type can be.

I was pretty good at FPS's when I played them a lot and it's been a while since I've done so, and I owe him a thanks for convincing me to give it a go again.

@GTP_Monkey

There is a companion app for the game that can be installed on your mobile phone.

It allows you to view the map and anyone around you. The best part is, it will give you the ability to zoom out to a much grater distance than the in game mini map.

The down side is you will probably need to keep it plugged in because it's a battery drainer. However keeping it plugged in while playing will heat up the phone quickly so you might want to put a fan blowing on it lol.

...it even works in all game types also.

@Pocket Fox

Not wanting to get into a debate about this so this will be the last thing I will comment on the subject.

So lets say you have 2 people who have Identical reaction time in their hand eye coordination, but ones connection is just a little slower then the other.

I get that we are only talking about milliseconds, but that difference is well...

A difference.

...and because of this it does give one person an advantage over the other no matter how small.

That's why most competition gaming is done Arena Style. Basically you pack up you gear and go play over a LAN at a specific location.

Even something as simple as CPU speed can make a difference. That's why people invest in the best PCs for competition gaming.

Does Not stop griefing, ive been shot gathering herbs and also at manzanita post whilst cooking some beef a griefer crept up behind me and killed me and you dont even see your radar map whilst cooking, Total cowards imo

If you are gathering herbs, you are griefer bait. They think that you are an easy kill. I spawn raped a wannabe griefer three times, while I was gathering herbs. Guess he will think twice next time.  Most of the time, griefers are lousy players. That's why they grief.

Climb a ladder and farm cops.

Shoot every animal while riding. If it flies, it dies.

Under Travel, there are three easy races. From Valentine to Strawberry and some others. Finishing these will get you 1500 xp. But they can not be reset.

Yep. Manzanita is a spawn killer's wet dream. Lately I've been seeing tons of campers all gathered around there waiting for SP missions to end. I know for myself, literally every single time that mission ends, i get spawned behind the building and go into a death screen before I've even loaded back into the game. Pretty sad, really.

That app I mentioned is the way to go.

You can see them coming from clear across the map giving you ample time to either leave or prepare for their arrival.

Unfortunately it will do little for spawn killers.

I've taken to setting a waypoint say at the Tumbleweed butcher and hunting my way there from Armadillo. I get lots of animals, cougars. herbs and gang hideouts sometimes. I am not in a hurry and I rank up fairly quickly. I got this method from playing with HooverRAD and besides xp it brings lots of money.

Pretty much how I roll in RDO.

I like to go hunting in The West Grizzlies, and make sure the way is clear to Strawberry or Valentine to sell everything. There is enough to hunt there, and you can always stop at Adler Ranch to steal Sadie's jewelry. Two gang hideouts appear there as well.

im leveling up reasonably well at 49 now but im no pvp player and find these cheap kills by griefers hiding and sneaking around very cowardly, often they exit the lobby if they see you coming for them after they first kill you same for the cowardly ones that camp outside the butchers

In gta, I am not a pvp player. At the very start of gtao, you were kicked around a lot. I was working to level up and gather money.

I avoid confrontation in gtao, because bullets are bad for business. Sometimes a low level treatend my income. I enjoyed scraping that little sh*t off my windscreen. High level players have more health, better weapons and more resources. So know your place in the food chain.

In RDR2 it was the same story over again. I grinded the rooftops to unlock better weapons. It is almost insulting to find a newbie stalker trying to grief you with nothing more than a cattle man revolver and the starter pea shooter, while you are armed to the teeth. What you do? Run away? No, you scrape that sh*t off your boots when you are done.

One of the epic moments occurred when a hostile posse was terrorizing Valentine. Suddenly all other players gathered their torches and pitchforks and ran that scum out of Dodge.

You will find most of them jump lobbies as soon as they see you heading towards them. Cant tell what level any player is in RDRO but your probably right its some kid with nothing better to do

I have and am in the process of uploading a video of two would be griefers, who were using their headsets and letting everyone hear them. They started by plotting to kill me inside a store..then when I came out. They abandoned that plan when I stood just inside the door to the Doctor's Office, and one of them auto-aimed an npc, and got a wanted level.

Next I recorded one of them ride his horse right off a plateau, and land close to me at the bottom.

Finally, I drove both of them into a building, and they openly talked about killing me with dynamite one of them planted. So I threw a stick of dynamite at the door and got a double kill. They second and more epic segment of that soon to be video.

If you're comfortable with free aim you get an extra 20xp per kill in addition to any other bonuses. It really adds up over time.
