Should I get a nightclub right now?

Recommended Posts

Confuzzeled

I have have bunker and a warehouse.  I have a vehicle warehouse too, but wouldn't come into play in regards to a nightclub.

People say do not get a nightclub unless you have 4 or 5 businesses.  Others say a warehouse/nightclub combo is ultimate passive income. I also hear the utility costs are high.

I do want to get an Oppressor MK2, which means I'll need a Terrobyte, so there's that. I just don't want to pour millions into a business that won't generate much income.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.  :)

Also, does a nightclub make the warehouse more "passive" or is it still a major grind? During the double $, it seems like the warehouse is more or less worth it. Feels like after the double $ however,  it seems like it's going to be hardly worth it.

Unless of course the nightclub will make the crates industry more passive, in which case the nightclub would be definitely worth getting.

Grinding for those crates is a MAJOR pain.

So I ended up buying the Oppressor MK2 which I guess means I really should get that Terrorbyte. So:

Is it possible to to simply buy the cheapest nightclub,  not set it up to avoid any utility charges, (I presume you don't pay for utilities until the business is set up? ) then buy the Terrorbyte? I could then go back to the nightclub at a later stage.

Will you even be allowed to buy the Terrorbyte if your nightclub isn't set up?

I'm not that knowledgeable on Nightclubs since I only bought my first a few days ago, but I'll do my best to answer your questions as no one else has yet.

The nightclub doesn't replace or produce stock for your other businesses, so you will still need to source crates for your CEO warehouse. Instead, owning another business allows you to produce stock for your nightclub independently. I don't really understand why, but that's just the way it is. I believe the ones that can make you the most money through the nightclub are meth, coke, weed, counterfeit money, forgery, and either the bunker, hangar or CEO warehouse. You won't need to supply them, just so long as they are not shutdown, the nightclub can produce stock.

Unlike the Bunker though, your stock will not accumulate when doing other jobs, you have to be in freeroam for it to do so. It can cost a lot of money to set it all up, even more if you don't own the necessary businesses already.

Personally, I'm not sure it's worth it the cost and effort, but some people swear by it. I've looked at the numbers and it's very confusing, too much maths.

You can't buy the Terrorbyte if the nightclub isn't set up, so you will need to do that first if you want it. It only takes half an hour and doesn't cost anything. There are also currently double payouts for Terrorbyte missions which are good to farm at the moment.

If you're looking to make the most of the current event, I would instead reccomend buying a bunker and Terrorbyte, and think about the nightclub again once it's over. Get the staff and equipment upgrades, buy stock, do Terrorbyte freeroam missions, then sell your bunker stock when the supplies run out (every 2:20 hours), buy more supplies and sell the existing stock and rinse and repeat. If you are a solo player, it's far easier to sell the little stock you have when the supplies run out rather than wait until it's full.

Thank you for you in depth respons, mate!  :)

This right here was my main concern, and it sucks that you can't just buy the nightclub,  not set it up, then buy the Terrorbyte.

On the other hand, I'd guess that perhaps I can simply buy the club, set it up but not buy any upgrades, then get the Terrorbyte...right? :/

Not sure if there'll be any, or rather hopefully very little utility charges without any upgrades or staff.

All this merely to upgrade my brand new Opressor MK2 lol.

Anyway,  thanks again!

Yes, you can set it up and not buy upgrades and still get the Terrorbyte. The bills don't cost too much if I remember.

Thanks mate! I think that's what I'll do. :)

Now, just got a full warehouse of crates to deliver first to finance the nightclub and Terrorbyte...solo... No idea what to expect lol. :/

I might be a bit late but I want to add my 2 cents here

Wrong. I make passive money by being AFK for 24h in a mission (Titan's work) in front of my office's TV and it generates money.

It really is, Passive money is always welcomed. + When selling your stock, it only requires ONE player: Yourself. Why? Because you ALWAYS have ONLY ONE vehicle to make the sale (while this is not true for Bunker and MC Businesses). But indeed it's very interesting when you already own 3 business (and the best is when you own the 5 "better" ones)

Let say you buy the cheapest nightclub which is the one at Elysian Island and costs 1.080.000$, then set it up and don't upgrade it all: You'll have one "worker" included with it, one storage floor and one delivery vehicle capable of selling up to 90 items/goods (Speedo Custom, which is the smallest delivery vehicle, is offered with the nightclub, however you might need larger vehicles for larger quantity sales later when you upgrade your nightclub but those delivery vehicles are pretty cheap (even without trade price), however their modifications can be pretty expensives (If you make deliveries in a solo Public Session then don't buy them, as simple as that). The worker could be assigned to "Sporting Goods" or "Cargo & Shipments"  (because you own the Bunker and a CEO Crates warehouse). The best choice out of these 2 is the Cargo (better "$ per hour" value).
So to the math now with different scenarios so you can find what suits you the best

EDIT: I did a small Excel with diferent scenarios because it's much more visual and easy to understand than plain text

Note: Getting the nightclub produce Cargo Goods / Sporting Goods doesn't affect how you handle your CEO warehouse / Bunker, those are completely separate things. It simply unlock the "Cargo" goods if you own a warehouse but are totally distinct things, so it's like having a second source of money thx to your warehouse -and the nightclub obiously-. Doesn't sound very useful at first sight, but when you own like 3 or 4 different business, then it's even more useful to have a nightclub.
