Jack Muller
Sorry for late but I finally played the MP and here's my review: What I really liked the most in "The Dark Instinct" is the story/plot, it's amazing! I liked how did they find Zoey and how did all that chaos began and how did they all died except Zoey (well in the present time not past and future) and finally how did Zoey reached the time traveling spot and went to the past to fix everything! Even the ending was weird but it doesn't matter... About the other things well, the difficulty was hard in some missions like in the beginning part when Zoey jumped on the car and Northon was driving it was very hard shooting at a lot of soldiers with low health and avoiding falling from the car or in the mission with Mark, uhh I hate him he always act heroic and go to fight the enemies and boom he die and I had to start over that damn mission (no offence bro) even in the part at the strip club floor Mark's health was very low and I died hundred times and at the end he try to kill North and Zoey kills him! Seriously I defended him all this long way and at the end he die? Never matter. The whole mission pack was very very thriller and awesome but I still can't believe that Zoey can ride a tank?!?! what a girl also I'm still wondering what did Zoey write in the letter that Northon read? Beside I hate those damn snipers I always persist along the whole mission and that damn green pant wearing piece of sh*t carrying a sniper always kills me from nowhere! But it was fun though. Object placement was outstanding as always, despite all this I enjoyed the MP but I'm still wondering what the f*ck... just happened in the ending?!?!??!?!? I really really like to know what did the ending means. Anyways it was awesome my rating is 8/10 good work! About the ending: Try reading @RithRake24's review, he captured perfectly what happened in the end and made a good analysis of it. Also, thanks for the feedback. Platinum Card
Very unique mission THBP. I don't recall playing something of the same concept too often. The synopsis alone has me looking forward to the missions to follow and the overall story. The only thing that was missing was the soundtrack (It didn't play at all). omigawail

Platinum Card
Just finished this very beautiful mission(it looks very aesthetic with directx 2 mod but that's beside the point). Everything from the opening scene, the soundtrack and the story telling pulled me into this series. This reminded me more of a machinema style (which I'm a big fan of) than your traditional dyom user based gameplay mission. Without spoiling anything I want to let you know that your work has beyond surpassed my expectations of what I thought was possible with Dyom. From Long Theft Auto days until now you've come a really long way. I'm staying tuned for the big pay off. Please keep up the good work! Platinum Card
Mission 3 was definitely more action packed and fun to play. Only problem I found is that the musical score would start and stop at certain points. (stop and start again when the door is blown up). There's a lot I want to say but I will keep things brief. You've come so far since Long Theft Auto. Seeing that 23.000km is sort of a spin off feels great. I really like where things are going with the two main protagonist. It's as if they've found their match. RithRake24 and THBP

I did it on purpose, since I didn't want to use .noa files in the end (so I just used the normal .mp3 files in each objective, and in that way it might have sound weird because each objective trigger a different part of the song). Other thing is: this is not actually a spin-off, it's basically a bunch of references to the LTA world. It's like LTA is a game in their world, and there's LTA Online, where the players/prisoners are trappped in. It's a good thing to have someone who played my very first project to notice those details. Thanks for the feedbacks, bro. Platinum Card
Two very well designed missions THBP. Part 4 is challenging but really fun. Drake and Sarah's relationship/friendship demonstrates really good character development. Nothing is rush and it all makes sense. One question though, was part 5 supposed to have a soundtrack or no? omigawail and RithRake24

RithRake24
@The Half-Blood Prince Alright, I can finally say I've caught up on the 6 missions of 23000km so far, and I'm glad that I did. Your presentation, cutscenes and actor animations are incredibly extraordinary: they feel very aesthetic, smooth and appear very cinematic, which I can say I highly appreciate since film and filmmaking is one of my personal passions. While the cutscenes were spellbinding and cinematic, I did pick up on the fact that you broke the 180 degree rule once or twice during some cutscene sequences, however it isn't a major problem in your case since your scenes tend to be established pretty well using wider shots at the start of respective cutscene segments so the position of the characters in the space is established clearly. Overall, I totally loved the cinematics. And ah, almost forgot to mention the gameplay sequence in the fourth mission. You have a magic touch when it comes to gameplay and I loved the way the sequence was designed. It felt fresh, despite only using the same features of DYOM that we know and have used for a long time. You're not thrown in the midst of a gunfight, you're progessively moving through waves of enemies as you escape, in this case the police, with each wave holding its own surprises and uniqueness. I can confidently say that it's been a while since I enjoyed a gameplay sequence in a DYOM mission this much. Well done on raising the bar, and keep raising it further and inspiring more DYOM designers. The sky isn't the limit: there is no limit. I will refrain from reviewing and deeply analysing the currently published six missions since I feel I'd be able to provide more detailed and plot-relevant feedback once more missions are released, especially considering the fact that while the setting has been established and explained in detail so far, the plot is only really at the beginning stage of moving towards the direction you're intending it to go to. What I can say for now is that characters have been portrayed well and stick to their personalities, and they also show signs of development, which is highly impressive. Additionally, there's that highly professional touch that can be found in all your recent projects. Waiting for more missions, and good luck! omigawail, AnDReJ98 and THBP
