Something different than the free arabian. Do you already have it at bonding4? How fast will it go? I noticed itms super calm when shooting and hunting and doesn‘t scare easy cause it‘s huge. Level 4 bonding stamina full circle and very pleased with the Apaloosa in fact i've gotten rid of my red Arabian thats too skittish whilst the Apaloosa is good with upto 3/4 wolves only throw you at 5 wolves even shot a 3 star grizzly and didnt spook, also great in gunfights in tall trees mission stay calm all the while just moans a very little but doesnt need calming which is a bonus as you dont have time whilst in a horse gun fight, can get quite close to Alligators speed wise as good as any other because speed is broken, wont replace this beauty till speed is fixed, Red Lynx 23 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I love feeding my horse an oakcake and It raise his stamina .10 percent yet in single player it resets the stamina all the way. Only thing that seems to matter in online is stamina and horse skittishness seems same with bond 4 no matter the type for me at least. This must have happened after a recent update, because I do remember special saddles not giving bonuses to speed and acceleration, filling the grey part of stats with yellow bars. Might be a recent fix. I'm not proud to say that I didn't know special saddles exsisted before recently at the end of my second SP playthrough. Speed wise just doesnt feel like upgraded saddle or stirrups made a difference. Rode as fast as i could from the stable at St. Denis to the stable at Van Horn always following the train tracks and patting the horse with L3 (PS4). Did this 4 times with 4 different setups. First with my Bay Roan Ardennes with the cheapest saddle and stirrups, then the same horse with Improved Mother Hubbard Saddle and hooded Stirrup. Then i took the Ultimate Edition Thoroughbred with the same saddles. First thing i learned, you have to change sessions to apply the changes of the different saddles, second with the 50% less stamina drain of the best stirrups you finish with full stamina while with the cheapest stirrups you finish with zero stamina and already drain the core. So now the stopped times: 3 min 07,77 sec Ardennes, cheapest saddle (speed 3) 3 min 02,67 sec Ardennes, hooded stirrups (speed 5) 3 min 02,61 sec Thoroughbred, cheapest saddle (speed 7) 2 min 56,90 sec Thoroughbred, hooded stirrups (speed 9) So there is only a slight difference in the speed, but the most important point is the bonus on the stamina drain, with the best stirrups you can go at max speed forever.
