What are you talking about? If they can headshot you, and you can't headshot them, then you're going to lose no matter what the weapon.

 

I mostly hunt, so my standard load out is the the varmint rifle and bolt action. The bolt action is far superior for anything larger than a rabbit.

 

If anything, all they need to do is eliminate the autokill on a headshot. As it is, I don't know why I can kill an NPC/player in one shot with the varmint rifle and not a fox.

"Big numbers syndrome" was a problem in GTAO too. Too many people convinced they were making more money by dragging out the mission. They weren't.

 

Yeah, you get a higher payout, but money/rp per hour is lower. Now, I don't know for a fact if that's the case with RDO. Idk if anyone crunched those numbers yet, and there's more variables to the payouts this time. But I suspect fast and clean is the best reward/hour. I've made more money doing a mission in 5 minutes than I did in 10-15 where someone died.

What is certain is that the money you are given for completing a mission gets drastically reduced based on how many lives are lost, or failing the first attempt.

I seen payouts be reduced well over 50% sometimes. That I take huge issue with, especially if you got forced into having Newbie McGreen tag along and immediately proceed to screw up in every possible way he can screw up. That combined with the mission ending if all lives are depleted and someone dies again, it just makes doing missions an overall sh*tty experience with randoms. Then to top it off with the icing on this sh*t cake, you are being forced to work with these people instead of going it alone.

 

If you fail once it makes everything you did pointless and a complete waste of time, you will get 3 - 4 dollars every time.

In Gta Online, doing a regular mission all the newbs can die and waste all their lives, but I can still soldier on alone, complete the mission, and still get the same reward. That is how it needs to be here.

That's because the mission payout timer resets upon a retry. Also, there's no base minimum for the missions, like GTAO, so fast and furious is not the most effective.

Most effective way with randoms is get in and get the fk out. No time to play grab ass. My $8500 is proof enough for me.

If you have a friend / friends, you can use missions to hunt in peace and easily make $100 in 15 minutes or so by hunting then completing the mission. Is it the maximum $/RP / hour? I don't know, but it does eliminate the need to deal with randoms and it makes good money.

Wait, wait, wait...

 

You can sell pelts while in a mission??? Or are you only talking about what goes in the satchel? Either way, that's an interesting approach (as long as everyone is on the same page).

This is what you get if payouts get bigger if you need longer,r*. 

If you play solo you can hunt small animals,craft bullets(also works as horse passenger btw),pick up herbs and let the others do the job as well. 

Its stupid but i like it.

We usually do More Than One Way To Earn a Buck, and you can do just about everything except fishing in that one. That mission is also close to Valentine, which is a big plus.
