woggleman
Not defending this but at least they kept it out of SP. Maybe that is an excuse but I expect companies to go after money when it is there and if people didn't buy them they wouldn't do it. At least they still gave a us a great single player experience which is more than can be said about many people. areyouchappin

But if they f*cked up SP (storywise, at least), like they did GTA V, then what are you really left with? It's still a worrying trend. And I gave all my praise for RDR2 single player. Rockstar really deserve praise for SP. It's just that they piss all over that legacy with their online experience. I really want to like RDO and GTAO and that's why I complain. Because I care. I just want better and I'll PAY for the experience, just not this business model which is sh*t. woggleman
With GTA V they certainly did but I don't feel they nerfed it with RDR2. Some people even complain it is too long. RDO is exactly what I expected it to be because Take Two wants to emulate GTAO.

I wish they had gold bars for some items in single player so there would be reason to grind stuff like gang hideouts after the story is complete and I've collected everything. They need to keep that away from SP. I would rather grind and I know how to make money in the game.
areyouchappin
Once you get to a certain point, there's kind of no need for Gold Bars in Single Player especially when the story line already gives you sh*t tons of cash. One of my only complaints about sp. No real reason to continue playing after the epilogue sadly. IamCourtney and areyouchappin

It's okay for testing out guns. It's what I did before buying 'em in online. Chrismads and IamCourtney
AmyStone
I love the fact that you can buy gold. The same way I loved the Shark Cards in GTA. It just means that all of these people who are stupid enough to spent real money on gold are paying for free content for me. You keep spending and I'll keep getting free stuff. Can't complain about that.
