iFruit App garage not updating

I've been trying to use the iFruitApp to change the color of my stock rims on the slamvan (Standard Slamvan, not Benny's Slamvan Custom).

 

The issue I'm having is that my garage in the app is not updating to show the slamvan. I've checked to make sure it's on PS4 not PS3. Signed out and back in both the app and online. Cleared the app's cashe. Deleted the app and reinstalled it and still no luck. Has anyone had this issue and know a fix/workaround?

iFruit is an out-of-date POS so it might just be that (nothing from Arena War shows up, frinstance. And apparently I have 2 scramjets not 1).

 

Try driving minimum 10 other vehicles (older the better) in and out of garages to 'clear' the current list, and/or sending an order through for a random car that does show up to check it goes through to the game. If it doesn't then send a different order to a different car. Repeat.

 

That's how I've kicked it into working before, after trying what you tried.

I've learned a ton about this very finicky app. Some tips I can share:

 

If you delete any of your custom plates and want them back, the app will sometimes not process orders in LSC if you re-add these plates in your app.

 

Solution: if you want your old plates back, go into story mode and add the desired custom plate to any of the 3 story characters. Log back into GTA online. Use the app to select the same plate you did in single player and process the order on the desired car.

 

Cars is not showing up/refreshing in ifruit/social club garage.

 

Solution: This one was a complete nightmare for me. What I did was drive any of the free cars till I got one to show up in the app/Social Club. I made sure this car was stored in a full garage. I then repurchased the car that I wanted to customize via the app, replacing the free car for the repurchased car.

 

The major downfall with this was repurchasing the car... It may work by simply replacing the car that you want into the garage but I haven't tried it that way. If anyone does and it works please share on here!

Regarding the recolor stock wheels glitch.

 

So many people use this trick and I could never get it to work and finally figured out a solution. 

 

It seems the only way to do this is to also change your plates.

 

While not the best solution, if for some reason you decide you don't want a custom plate and you just want the standard random plate, I just took a screenshot of my car's original plate and then ordered a custom plate with what the pic said. Sadly $100k lost but it's not too hard to make that anymore.

Not sure about AA and AW. Today play around with them and see what happens. I will definitely post my findings on here!

I think you may be onto something; I tried over the last couple of days and I cannot get any after hours or Arena Wars vehicles to show up in the app.

 

If it's custom plates, you can always apply it to another car and then switch plates to the desired plate you neither LSC or your Arena Wars Workshop.

 

But for anything like the recolor stock wheel glitch, it looks like sadly we may be out of luck...

Update: I did get my Impaler to show up in the app. It haven't been upgraded to an arena contender yet, but it did show up so maybe that's something maybe in the right direction.

Someone in another thread somewhere on this website told me the problem is the garages, not iFruit or the cars. He said if you buy a car and have it delivered to your AA or AW garages, they won’t show up in iFruit. Personally, I believe he’s wrong, but I thought I’d mention it. (My memory is fuzzy but this may have been in the Tezzeract appreciation thread. People who had it delivered to older garages could see it in iFruit, but delivered to AA garages could not.)

 

Earlier today I did drive around some of my older cars (Reaper, Armored Kuruma) and they popped into iFruit. But some did not, like an Infernus.

 

I bought the Deveste Eight and made sure to deliver it to one of the game’s original garages, Tinsel Towers. It did not show up in iFruit.

 

I will also mention that I bought a Futo into a Tinsel Towers garage and then drove it around.

 

It did not show up in iFruit.

The problem is not the garages but the slots

ifruit does not show vehicules bought over the news slots since nightclub dlc

it can be in any garage

slots are not related to garages.

it is just the order you bought ur cars , no matters in wich garage

I’m not sure I understand what you’re saying. Are you saying only cars that are stored in certain slots will appear in ifruit? That if I have a car that does show up in ifruit, I can move any other car to that spot and it’ll show up?

No, you will have to replace the car in order to get the "working" slot

it does not work if you just move the car

Thats mean you will have to buy again the car over a car that show in ifruit

 

if you buy a car , it goes to a slot

if u move ur car to other garage , it is still the same slot 

it is like moving shoesbox , you can move the box to other place but it is still the same shoes inside the same box.

I’m not buying cars to replace cars in working slots. That’s ridiculous. First of all, that’s a huge waste of money. Secondly, most of my cars can’t just be replaced with a purchase.

 

Rockstar needs to fix this.

Or you can use a dupe glitch if you really want to use ifruit on a car.

i hope rockstar will fix this but im not really sure they care

Dude I’ve been searching for answers as to why certain vehicles won’t show in the ifruit app and you’re the only person I’ve seen with an answer. Thank you. Btw would you know any way to fix this?

That answer never made any sense to me. “Slot” is another word for a particular space in a garage.

 

What I have heard from others, and seen for myself, is that at least some of iFruit’s problems are caused by cars with unintended wheels, in particular Benny’s or F1 wheels. If you drive a bunch (ten or so) cars with normal wheels in and out of garages, it should clear up iFruit. This has worked for me. It doesn’t seem to work for everyone all the time though. But it’s something to try.

How can you even use the app? Mine doesn't even start... it also has been removed from Google Play, at least in my country, don't know if it's the same for others. 

I really want those custom plates... 

EDIT: ok got it and working using an emulator.
