What side characters would make a great protagonist and why?

Title pretty much says it all. List any side characters, major or minor, that you think would be fun to play as.

 

-Packie McReary. He is just a great character in my opinion and he is good at what he does. His personality and his family really make him a unique character.

 

-Malc from TLAD. I really liked the whole biker feel in TLAD and Malc is a different kind of biker. There aren't too many black biker gangs. He can handle his own and his personality just seems like he would make a good protagonist. 

 

 

If this has already been done feel free to lock it, move it, or do whatever it is you do with it

Cesar from San Andreas, he's a level-headed and loyal character and therefore a good candidate for a likeable protagonist.

Cesar would have been who I hoped would be the protagonist of a San Andreas Stories if they ever made one of those.

 

I feel like Phil Cassidy could have been a protagonist at some point before he got out of shape and blew his own arm off, maybe in the 70s.

Gerry mcreary probably in his earlier days though he still gets stuff done in GTA4 has he said he wouldve bombs the ancelottis himself if he wasn’t being watched

 

I would say packie but I don’t know if hes as active as a GTA protag has to be

I don't think so. He's too much of an orange douchenozzle to be a protagonist, and I don't think I'd ever finish the game because I'd just waste time constantly jumping off the tallest building as him.

8 ball-Interesting character, maybe it could show what he did to get locked up and what he does after bomb da base.

 

Cesar-hate to beat the dead horse but yeah, pretty solid character and pretty likable. could give us some insight into LS's Mexican American gang scene

 

Little Jacob- It'd be interesting to see what happened to him after IV. he can handle himself in a fight but i suspect that most people who would play him wouldn't be able to understand him

Patrick Mcreary. He can handle himself in a fight. He is a great character and he'd be fun to play.

 

Brucie? Maybe. I know he's bit mad, but he'd be fun to play! It would be nice to see what he would get up too.

 

Sweet would be an interesting guy to play from his view. Defending their turf or moving Sweet to a different city.
