The pocket watch you can buy in the catalog is lootable, so DON'T buy it!  I just found this out over the weekend.  In the past I have seen an item that when you go to pick it up it simply says "Pocket Watch."  It doesn't say silver, gold, platinum, just "Pocket Watch."I have seen it in a few different places like lock boxes and I think(IIRC) there is one on the ground in the stone building at the very south of Bolger Glade, but I have never been able to pick it up.  Anyway, over the weekend I was playing on my other account and I noticed when looting bodies I looted an item that said "Pocket Watch", thought it was a bit strange, but didn't put a lot of thought into it.  Later in the day I was scanning through the catalog and noticed it said I owned the pocket watch, but I had NEVER bought it.  This prompted me to check my main account because I also never bought it on that one.  In fact, I remember playing with my fiend on day 1 of BETA and teasing him when he bought the pocket watch.  Same thing, catalog said I own it so I must have looted it somewhere along the way.

The ruined church in Bolger Glade, on of the alcoves on the right as you enter from the north, there's a watch there.

Later on it doesn't really matter that you saved that money, but early it's nice. and those of us from RPG backgrounds hate to miss out on looting something.

He also shoots at your bounty wagon if you have bounties held within.

There's also 1 in that house just outside Van Horn. Then one where you have to use the wagon to climb through the window.

Been playing since online beta, level 355 now:

 

Just discovered that rather than standing by my horse and selecting "feed", where it always feeds it "hay", I can

still go to the menu for "horse" and feed it like I'm sitting on it with whatever (beets, carrot, oatcake, etc.); I always

thought I had to be sitting on the horse to do that, so embarrassed!

Remember when games used to come with instruction books on how to play and use the controls?  I swear if not for playing with a friend, and these boards, there would be so much stuff I would have no idea about and probably wouldn't figure out on my own.

If you skin the legendary alligator from story mode (spawned by a modder), the full skinning animation will play, although you only get a normal alligator skin

Today was the first time I got to use my lance knife while cooking, it has always defaulted to the standard hunting knife:

 

 

It didn't work when skinning animals, I had to equip the knife to have it shown on my character after a skinning animation several times.

He must have been doing one of those rescues where predators have someone on a rock. I did one and I shot a wolf right between the eyes from about 10 feet but it didn't do any damage. Shot it again, no go. Of course, by this time the other two got to me. So I won't bother with those anymore.

Might have been posted but when fist-fighting if you time your blocks instead of holding it you will "stun" them on the first block. If you hold it they need to do a combo to be stunned on the last block.

Basically hold is a block and pressing it just as they attack allows for an immediate parry.

Today I clicked on 'Collector" instead of 'Camp" on the menu screen because that's where the camp button usually is, and it drops right at Madam's location...obviously , but is that new?

I don't recall ever seeing that, I generally load in to my camp.

Probably this is highlighted in the main menu only this "collector" week...

But it is a nice addition if you don't know Mme Nazar's location...

Whoa, what??? I'll have to try that when the daily is selling her junk/using 3 collector maps.

Yeah, did this the other day when it was sell stuff to Madam Nazar (select "collector", from the main online menu, instead of camp/whatever.)
