During a 'destroy the still' mission today I think I shot an NPC about to throw (or at least carrying) toxic moonshine:

 

As he reached my level I popped him and the toxic cloud appeared, never had that happen before.

I had one do that to me a day ago, thought I was mistaken but the cloud was still there when he died. They also like to throw flaming bottles at me now, I don't like that.

 

I don't know if this is actually a thing of not, but Ruvik is wearing those boots with the metal tips and he made these sparks when they hit the edge of the platform. I know bullets have that effect when they hit metal, and the horses shoes do, but I didn't know our characters had that effect.

The collector Maps should Not be discarded, when opening another. IT makes absolutely No Sense. And the Treasury Maps arent discarded, too

I agree. Sometimes I'll open a map just to see where the locations are and sometimes I don't feel like going to those areas. I have only 2 options. Either go there or open another map and discard the one I had opened. Since we paid for them, at a pretty steep price too, they should be saved.

the interactive collector map makes these maps obsolete anyway.

so the only use is for the daily challenge. yes, you will waste money for buying and throwing them away, but fo 0,5 gold its a very good trade, even for 0,2.

I shot a snake with the elephant gun and it was completely obliterated, no paw print on the minimap or even some unlootable remnants, just gone. Didn't know that was possible.

The same thing happens when using any of the shotguns (since day one, AFAIK).

 

Haven't tried it yet (hmm... tonight!) but I suspect frogs and mice would be vaporized too.

I accidentally did that to Pestilence in Undead Nightmare with the blunderbuss. Pulled the sucker out to shoot at an oncoming zombie but the darn horse turned his head into my line of sight and next thing I know I'm standing over a red circle and no longer on my horse.

Yup; I've had both a wolf and a cougar attack me while inside a building/hut. Never leave the door open behind you (I think it stops them, but have no proof per se).

 

The wolf attack was at the Cumberland Forest gang hideout (southern-most one); the cougar was at the isolated shack north of Annesburg (again, I had left the door open behind me):

You can ampute much more parts of the Body with the elephant rifle, than with Common shotguns

 

Its Like the Maxim gun, which can Take whole legs and arms ,Not Just the lower sections of limbs....

Just checked, my Rockstar social club weapon stats.

 

The Elephant Rifle and Improved Bow, don't have a kill count.

Woah; now that I didn't know! I need to try out the Maxim gun more often when I get the chance... but IIRC, it's only gang hideouts that can spawn them in free roam?

 

One things is obvious--R* has (and apparently will) introduce new types of ammunition in the game. Might be a good thing...

I hope we get a mobile gun, mounted on a coach, soon!

AFAIK here are no permanent maxim guns in free roam, which spawn without an event.

Am I right in assuming that any stranger mission can potentially be a player assassination, or is that only if you have negative honor?

One or two of the bounty missions feature Maxims.

The one at The Loft is one, creep up behind the gunner, plink him with an arrow and you're off and running.

They'll often eventually get you from a flank where you can't depress the gun enough to get them, but it's fun while it lasts.

The hideout at the burned fort just across the river from Blackwater is another good one, you can sneak up and get on the gun easily.

 

This was the best I've done with a Maxim, during a shine mission at Lakay:

You cant switch back to Standard metal, If have bought the free cupper Metal I.e.. for your gun.

It would cost gold!

Its Not about your Honor level. Half of the strangers are good people, These Missions only contains honorful Missions, which give you good Honor. The other half are Bad people with dirty work Like assasinations etc., These will decrease your honor

One thing that I do, is open the 3 maps and put the red mark on the spots, then I get them when I pass by.
