Bugged: Wildlife Art Exhibition

I did the first 4? parts around ch2 and now that I am in the Epilogue the task has updated to "Check back at Post Office for reward" and the Post Office icon has updated to the "you have mail" icon, but you go inside and the triangle button is disabled, I cannot receive any mail to update the mission

The fifth part can only be accessed after you have completed chapter 6. Check to see if it says “Mrs Hobs has gone on vacation” if so you’ll have to continue the story missions.

 

There is also reportedly a bug where if you have any of the animals required for the next task already in your satchel you won’t receive the next mail - in which case you may need to reload an earlier save. I haven’t witnessed it myself though.

It used to say that, but I'm in the Epilogue NOW and I had the animals in Arthur's Satchel but had/have nothing in... *this* satchel

It’s only available from a specific point in the Epilogue. I think after completing A New Jeruselum in Part 2.

We'll see, but why then would it have updated FROM "Mrs Hobs has gone on vacation" to "Check back at Post Office for reward?"

I remember the messaging system being a little wayward and getting paranoid it was bugged.

 

Dont read this if you don’t know how the story ends:

 

Basically if the 5th task isn’t available after you’ve built Beechers Hope and Abigail has come back then I’d worry it’s bugged. But if you’re not there yet, play through to that point as efficiently as possible. It’s pretty certain it’s delayed to that point because the It’s Art Trophy requires you to place the squirrel statue Mrs Hobbs gives you on the mantle piece at Beechers hope and find it multiple times when it goes missing.

I did a mission for Sadie (the one before the bank loan) and even tho nothing else changed, all of a sudden I was able to accept the mail and officially begin part 5
