Dellaith 0
Since the release of the After Hours update, I haven't been able to use car mods, when I do everything as instructed, the car doesn't show up in any trainers, and it says it's invalid when I try spawning it using the spawn name, I think it might have to do with the dlclist.xml but I'm not sure. Some people have tried helping me on GTA5Mods.com but they seem to not know what's going on either. I'll post my current dlclist.xml as well as a link to my post on the GTA5Mods forums so you guys can see what I've tried. https://forums.gta5-mods.com/topic/22317/addons-aren-t-working-for-me <SMandatoryPacksData> <Paths>
platform:\dlcPacks\mpBeach\

platform:\dlcPacks\mpBusiness\

platform:\dlcPacks\mpChristmas\

platform:\dlcPacks\mpValentines\

platform:\dlcPacks\mpBusiness2\

platform:\dlcPacks\mpHipster\

platform:\dlcPacks\mpIndependence\

platform:\dlcPacks\mpPilot\

platform:\dlcPacks\spUpgrade\

platform:\dlcPacks\mpLTS\

dlcpacks:\mpheist\

dlcpacks:\mppatchesng\

dlcpacks:\patchday1ng\

dlcpacks:\patchday2ng\

dlcpacks:\mpchristmas2\

dlcpacks:\patchday2bng\

dlcpacks:\patchday3ng\

dlcpacks:\patchday4ng\

dlcpacks:\mpluxe\

dlcpacks:\patchday5ng\

dlcpacks:\mpluxe2\

dlcpacks:\patchday6ng\

dlcpacks:\mpreplay\

dlcpacks:\patchday7ng\

dlcpacks:\mplowrider\

dlcpacks:\mphalloween\

dlcpacks:\patchday8ng\

dlcpacks:\mpapartment\

dlcpacks:\mpxmas_604490\

dlcpacks:\mplowrider2\

dlcpacks:\mpjanuary2016\

dlcpacks:\mpvalentines2\

dlcpacks:\patchday9ng\

dlcpacks:\mpexecutive\

dlcpacks:\patchday10ng\

dlcpacks:\mpstunt\

dlcpacks:\patchday11ng\

dlcpacks:\mpimportexport\

dlcpacks:\mpbiker\

dlcpacks:\patchday12ng\

dlcpacks:\patchday13ng\

dlcpacks:\mpspecialraces\

dlcpacks:\mpgunrunning\

dlcpacks:\mpairraces\

dlcpacks:\mpsmuggler\

dlcpacks:\mpchristmas2017\

dlcpacks:\mpassault\

dlcpacks:\mpbattle\

dlcpacks:\patchday14ng\

dlcpacks:\patchday15ng\

dlcpacks:\patchday16ng\

dlcpacks:\patchday17ng\

dlcpacks:\patchday18ng\

dlcpacks:\patchday19ng\

dlcpacks:\patchday20ng\

dlcpacks:\mpchristmas2018\

dlcpacks:\vorst\
</Paths> </SMandatoryPacksData>
Guest
It's always useful to see the dlclist but it doesn't tell us the whole story and as this xml validates just fine, there must be something else causing the problem. You seem to have changed the direction of the slashes but as far as I know, that won't cause a problem. So what else could cause the problem? 1) The name of the dlcpack folder isn't the same as what you have typed in the dlclist. Is the folder defintely called "vorst"? I think I have found the mod you are trying to use, if it's the McLaren 720S, then it is called vorst. 2) The name of the model files doesn't match the name you have been given as the spawn name. Have you opened the rpf and checked if the yft files have the same name as the spawn name you are using? If it is the car I mentioned above, are you using mm720 or mv720 to spawn it? 3) The model names might match your spawn name but the name in vehicles.meta might not match the models name. Check the <modelName>[Model Name]</modelName> line in the vehicles.meta file to check it matches the yft file names. Again, if it is the 720, this is okay. 4) There is an error in another of the dlc files that is causing the whole dlc to fail to load. Manually check each file, to make sure there are no errors. I have seen many addons released broken, don't assume it works just because it has been uploaded, the modder might have only checked the replace version. I have just installed this and spawned both versions, so the dlc is fine. Edit: Hold that thought, I tested this in 1032, I am just going to install it in 1604 and check it there as well. Update: Works fine in 1604 as well. So I guess that leaves one other question... is your mods folder really working properly? In OpenIV.log, is there a line like this? 23/12/2018 00:22:34.030 [6556] TRACE: [fiDeviceLocal::getFileAttr] 'mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/vorst/dlc.rpf' {M} Edited December 23, 2018 by Guest
Dellaith 0
I've checked everything you've stated and everything seems to be fine except for the OpenIV.log, that line isn't there. Is there anyway I can fix it? Edited December 23, 2018 by Dellaith

Is there anyway I can fix it? Is OpenIV.asi being loaded properly? Can you post the contents of asiloader.log? It's only small so you can just paste it into here. It should look something like this: Spoiler // GTA V ASI LOADER (build May 2 2015) // (C) Alexander Blade 2015 LIB: "C:\Windows\system32\dinput8.dll" => 000007FEE8890000 API: "DirectInput8Create" => 000007FEE8894820 API: "DllCanUnloadNow" => 000007FEE88A20DC API: "DllGetClassObject" => 000007FEE88A2014 API: "DllRegisterServer" => 000007FEE88B1050 API: "DllUnregisterServer" => 000007FEE88B1064 LOADER: Loading *.asi plugins ASI: Loading "M:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\GTAV.HeapAdjuster.asi" "GTAV.HeapAdjuster.asi" => 000007FEF1E20000 ASI: Loading "M:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\GTAVLauncherBypass.asi" "GTAVLauncherBypass.asi" => 000007FEFA6F0000 ASI: Loading "M:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\openCameraV.asi" "openCameraV.asi" => 000007FEF1DF0000 ASI: Loading "M:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\OpenIV.asi" "OpenIV.asi" => 000007FEF1DC0000 ASI: Loading "M:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\ScriptHookVDotNet.asi" "ScriptHookVDotNet.asi" => 000007FEFA6F0000 ASI: Loading "M:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\TrainerV.asi" "TrainerV.asi" => 000007FEE6DD0000 LOADER: Finished loading *.asi plugins That's mine from version 1604. OpenIV.asi is loaded by dinput8.dll, which comes with ScriptHookV. Sorry if you know all this, I am adding it in case people with a similar problem don't know what files do what. Dellaith 0
It's no problem, I could use as much information I can get, so I appreciate it. Guest
Well that seems fine as well. Having 3 trainers shouldn't cause any problems as far as I know. I only use one so I don't know for sure on that one. So just to clarify your mods folder setup, if you open OpenIV to your vorst dlc, does it look like this? And this is going to sound like a really stupid question but I have to ask it anyway... the updated dlclist.xml file, that's in the update.rpf in the mods folder?
Dellaith 0
I found the problem! Where your files go "mods, update, x64, dlcpacks" mine didn't have "update", I thought I tried putting the whole "update" folder in the mods folder, apparently I didn't. On a side note, I always have more than one trainer, I often download others to see what they can do. Anyway thank you so much, you're a legend :):):):) Edited December 23, 2018 by Dellaith
