No auto-lock and can’t use LT to talk to anybody!

I have lost all auto-lock capability and I can’t talk to people or use the stores or train station or anything with my horse because the LT (left trigger) won’t do anything. It will illuminate the circle with LT inside like I’m going to talk to an NPC but nothing happens, didn’t know if anyone else has had and fixed this issue???
