ChengizVlad09
Ah, I've been digging around in vain for some time now in order to try and solve this issue I have with III, VC and SA. Basically, one day and right out of nowhere, lamp post and interior lights were somehow changed from their original color to random, various colors as shown below at the bottom of the post. I have some mods installed in each of the 3 games, but nothing that would change those lights, and as a matter of fact I wouldn't know how to do that, not even remotely. Even though the light source is changed, light cast on the ground stays unchanged. What's most intriguing is that this happened at the same time in all 3 games simultaneously and I haven't touched files in III and VC since I've installed them more than a year ago. Strange. Mods I use are: SkyGFX, some Beta stuff in SA, p2dfx & Limit Adjuster Timecyc editor and couple of added peds along with PS2 Timecyc and Seabed. Even less mods in III and VC. Any help is greatly appreciated! Edited December 22, 2018 by ChengizVlad09
Mysterdogg
@ChengizVlad09, that's caused by the 2DFX mod, by default it comes with the festive lights function enabled, open the INI file and go to the last section where the mentioned value it's present to disable it. In the future, problems with espcific mods please refer it to their official topics. Your issue has been posted and solved many times there ChengizVlad09
ChengizVlad09
@Mysterdogg Man, am I feeling embarrassed now. I couldn't solve such trivial thing without wasting thread space. How much more obvious word " Festive " needs to be? In my defense though, I still don't have the slightest clue how Festive lights could be turned on at the same time in all 3 games simultaneously when I could swear I didn't touch anything in their p2dfx folders - probably I did, but can't remember . Also, my initial intention was to ask in the right place, except I couldn't figure what was causing it, so ironically I didn't want to be off-topic there. Anyway, thank you so much for your help and I would kindly ask Moderators to close this topic upon seeing this mess. Cheers!
