How is a rabbit the same price as a black bear pelt?

 

 

I mean, I know the black bear's a bit smaller than the grizzly, and not so aggressive, but it's a little bit bigger and less common than a rabbit.

 A 3 star grizzly doesn't pay nearly what it should be worth either. Too bad they don't make  the bears and moose a worthwhile hunt. They should be a stand alone event that's worth the time involved.

 

They should also up the price of beaver, muskrat and fox pelts since those were the most sought after fashion furs. They were almost always trapped since trapping would cause less damage. Wish they'd add that to the game (of course,  trapping IRL sucks).

 It's amazing I've managed to pull off as much cash as I have hunting & fishing. Probably accounts for about 30% of my earnings, the others being story/stranger missions & PvP (which is 50% or more of my earnings   )

Agreed

 

Alot of animals should be worth more. But they should also be harder to hunt.

There's a tracking, wind and baiting system, but there's no use for any of it as the most profitable way to hunt is just chasing everything on a horse. 

Which seems very unrealistic to me.

No way you're able to catch up with a whitetail or pronghorn through a forest and landing a perfect headshot irl.

1 - Kill 5 players with dynamite. Kill 5 players with headshots. Kill 5 players while mounted. Kill more than 3 players at once with 1x dynamite

 

The daily challenges most certainly ARE griefing, especially considering there are 30 people per lobby all with similar challenges.

 

2 - Maybe my cores are low before joining, so I want to fill them. Should I just roll over and accept the lazy developers coding that depletes my core even though I ate something? Funny thing is, the reverse is true too, if I take the tonic inside the mission and fill my core, once you are returned to free mode, the core will be depleted YET AGAIN.

All those challenges can be done in pvp modes and don‘t require „griefing“. 

It‘s a matter of perspective anyway. From your former posts I know that you experience the slightest bit of pvp as griefing so..

From the next update it looks as though PvP related Daily Challenges will have to be completed in PvP side modes anyway

Anti Griefing Measures.

 

Let's make all blips invisible save for within 150 yards. The bad people will now be Red Dots viewable to all!

 

So now we have people that don't seem to be doing anything particularly wrong being targeted (I don't see Red Dots behaving any worse than the Blues who shoot at me much more frequently than the Reds!). Because if you cannot find anyone on a map you can always track down the Red Dots and stay just out of blip range with the sniper and shoot them.

 

The Rockstarish Logic being....we want to cut down on griefing by making people direct targets for griefing?

1 - Forced PVP on another player going about their business IS griefing, especially when there is no way of getting out of it, except waiting for them to kill you, Parleying, and being teleported halfway across the map. My previous posts would give no reason to infer that I hate PVP, I just choose to only play story missions and hunting. Doesn't mean I want PVP removing from the game. Also, it doesn't matter one bit that you can do these challenges inside Showdown modes. Do you think the majority of players will go into Showdown mode just to complete them, do you think they will actually think that far ahead and care about forcing their way of playing on others? Nope, they will just do it in free mode as they are hunting, lol.

 

2 - It's clear you knew exactly the point I was making and are now just being pedantic. Also, my initial post was talking about DEAD EYE BAR, not dead eye CORE, try reading it again before trying to correct me when there is no need. Cheers.

We'll create very odd Anti Griefing measures. We'll release statements about how we want to combat griefing.

 

But

 

We'll have Ability Cards that allow high levels to be nearly impossible to kill vs low levels! (and wonder why so many people have never made it to level 50)
