All outside, two registered as stuff (one MC and one CEO) - but I've done it before as the only CEO out of the three. A bit strange really.

Try going threw hide/show event options , mine were bugged soon as I went threw them all the event popped up for us.

I do think these may be a bit bugged as well. In a new lobby the first BB always spawns on que but many times the second one never spawned so I been switching lobbies after the first one instead of waiting for another.

Also to make sure a new BB will retrigger when 3 friends are in private session, the one who does not go after crate can leave session as soon as the BB starts. He will load a new private session and invite his other 2 mates who will join him once they have delivered their crate.

Doing this way you are sure to have a new BB starting within less than 15 minutes

Towards the end of Special Crates' lifespan,  R* finally implemented auto detect software that would ensure you were awarded an item not already in your inventory. So why not apply that here, ffs? Argh.

Got it 3 times (None of witch were Simeon's). First time it nottified me when i went outside of NC.Other 2 just went outside and gotten Up-n-Atomizer in my hands (soaked in blood of other crate fighters)

If one of you is AFK inside a property (three people) then the Battles won't trigger.

Also, my friends have just completed the Simeon BB and they only got more sweaters, so this '100%' bullsh*t was never tested and simply pulled out of someone's arse.

Just a follow up from my question, it still gives you the gun and livery if a modder had given you one prior. I'm glad they didn't ruin things for me.

Or the sample was not big enough to be representative, that happens. During my observations there was a 1.0 probability to get a gun in Simeon event battle and 0 probability of other outcomes: I get it there, 3 of my friends got it there too, some people from the forum too. So, if you care about my ass, that wasn't pulled out of there. Either it's more random that we think or there's an offset algorithm there, but my money is on former.

Have you guys tried to complete a Doomsday Heist Prep missions ? You know those that act like free mode events ?

I would like someone who didn't receive the ray gun to try it out.

The function that handle the RNG seems to set the value to 10 if you're doing a business battle that isn't one of the known ones.

Every Doomsday Heist prep mission is a business battle, more like a battle in disguise.

Anyway, this might not work but if it does, that's the 100% way to receive the gun.

I can test it, if one of my friends get online. I'm at ~30 successful BB Event Cargo deliveries and still haven't recieved the Up-N-Atomizer...

Can confirm that we don't need to register as a CEO/MC. Was in with 2 buddies and they spawned no problem. (Same the last time we plodded some of these too).

 

3 players, 2 with nightclub, and no events hidden via the inventory and all outside of course, is all we needed dude.

As above Gaffa, no need to register, but it won't interfere either way.

like since the event started i’ve been trying to get all of them, it either puts me in a session where the event ends in like 20 seconds, or gives me a dupe

my boy character got his raygun in a public session in the LSIA BB. I collected the 2 bags but only 1st one rewarded me with ray gun and festive tint

Fun, apart from the gun that gets given away on christmas anyways, are the sweaters going to be permanently unlocked and you can keep them after they remove festive stuff? If not I don't see any reason to even partecipate

Yes, you can keep them.

They are gifts not content locked behind a tunable variable.

It's basically a whole new system where they can gift any piece of clothing via event cargo, it will be stupid to not be able to keep them.
